| Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of Bushenjieyu decoction on the senile hypertensive patients with depression,and influence on patients endothelial function.Methods:82 senile hypertensive patients with depression were randomly divided into treatment group and control group(n=41)for clinical research.Patients in control group were treated with Norvasc(Amlodipine Besylate Tablets)5mg qd,and those in treatment group were given Bushenjieyu decoction combined with Norvasc respectively(200ml,bid)for 8 weeks.to observe the TCM symptoms curative effect and the antihypertensive effects,and then to observe the changement of blood pressure,Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)scores,Geriatric Depression Scale(GDS)scores,the levels of endothelin 1(ET-1)and plasma Nitrogen Monoxide(NO)before and after treatment.Results:After treatment,the TCM symptoms score showed improvements in the two groups,The treatment group was superior to control group in the TCM symptoms score and TCM symptoms curative effect(P<0.01).After treatment,the blood pressure showed reduction in the two groups in different degrees,and the treatment group was superior to control group in the blood pressure and Antihypertensive efficacy(P<0.05).HAMD scale scores and GDS scale scores in the two groups after treatment were significantly decreased(P<0.05),the treatment group is better than that of control group(P<0.05).After treatment,plasma ET-1 levels decreased(P<0.05),and plasma NO levels increased in the two groups(P<0.05),the treatment group after treatment were better than that of control group(P<0.05).Conclusions:Bushenjieyu decoction can decrease blood pressure effectively,including significantly improve the therapeutic efficacy of senile hypertensive patients with depression,reducing plasma ET-1 levels,increasing plasma NO levels,having high safety,and that it's worthy of clinical popularization and application. |
