Research On Evaluation Of Medical Consumables Suppliers In Z Hospital

With the rise of supply chain,the competition among enterprises has become the competition among supply chains.Medical consumables supplier is an important part of hospital supply chain,its own ability and management level have an important impact on the hospital.Management of medical consumables suppliers can effectively reduce the price of products,improve the accuracy of delivery,reduce the risk of shortage of goods,better meet the clinical needs,cost saving for hospitals,is an important way for sustainable development of hospitals.Through combing the related research results of supplier management and combining the characteristics of medical industry,the classification and evaluation method of medical consumables supplier in Z hospital was studied.Firstly,the general situation of suppliers,supply and supplier evaluation in Z hospital were analyzed,and the problems such as large number of suppliers but not classified evaluation,incomplete selection of evaluation index and unreasonable evaluation index data were concluded.Then,based on the above problems,combined with 2/8 principles and Karajack matrix,medical consumables of Z hospital are classified from two dimensions of importance and risk of consumables.Nine kinds of consumables are classified into four categories:strategic,bottleneck,lever and general consumables.Accordingly,suppliers are divided into four categories.Then,the evaluation indicators of four types of suppliers are determined by questionnaire survey and literature analysis,and then the evaluation model is established;the selected indicators are analyzed quantitatively,and the weight of the indicators is calculated by AHP according to the quantified value.Finally,an example of strategic supplier evaluation is given,and the evaluation results are analyzed to verify the effectiveness and scientificity of the evaluation model.The supplier classification and evaluation method constructed in this paper is not only helpful for Z hospital to further clarify the management of all kinds of medical consumables suppliers to be upgraded and improved links,but also helpful for Z hospital to improve the quality of medical consumables,reduce the risk of out-of-stock and reduce the cost of consumables procurement.
