Analysis On The Status And Equity Of Health Service Utilization From 2011 To 2016 In Jiangsu Province

ObjectsThis study takes Jiangsu Province as the research object,and uses the concentration index to evaluate the fairness of health service utilization in 13 provinces and municipalities in Jiangsu Province from 2011 to 2016,and combines the results of fairness research to explore the improvement strategy of improving the fairness of health service utilization in the context of new medical reform.Provide a theoretical basis for the rational allocation of hospital medical resources and the improvement of the fairness of health service utilization.In order to explore the improvement strategy of improving the fairness of health service utilization under the background of new medical reform,it provides a theoretical basis for the rational allocation of medical resources and the improvement of utilization rate.MethodBy searching relevant literatures,on the basis of fully understanding and summarizing the research on the fairness of health services at home and abroad,the survey collected the basic data of health service utilization in 13 provincial cities in Jiangsu Province from 2011 to 2016.Using the concentration index to evaluate the fairness of health services in Jiangsu Province from the basic situation of emergency services and the basic situation of inpatient services,and combined with the results of cluster analysis to analyze the utilization of health services in different provinces,cities,regions,and health resources.Fairness.Data was created using Epidata 3.1 database,and statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 21.0 and Stata12.0.Results1.Health service utilization: In the past 2011-2016 years,the number of outpatient services and inpatient services in Jiangsu showed a gradual upward trend.Among them,the largest increase shown as 47.7% is about health checkups in outpatient services,the largest increase shown as 57.1% is about surgical patients in inpatient services.Besides,the average hospitalization days in Jiangsu showed a downward trend,the average hospitalization days decreased by 1 days,whose decline was 9.3%.2.The equity of health service utilization: In the past 2011-2016 years,the concentration indices of outpatient services and inpatient services in Jiangsu showed an upward trend and tended to be in economically developed areas.Among them,the concentration index of the outpatient service equity was the larger,which was greater than 0.2.3.The equity of health service utilization in different prefectural cities: In the past 2011-2016 years,there are differences in the equity of health service utilization in prefectural cities with different economic levels,different geographical locations and different levels of allocation of health resources.The equity of health service utilization in prefectural cities with high economic level and allocation of health resources is better than that in regions with low and moderate economic level and allocation of health resources.The equity of health service utilization is the worst in south Jiangsu,second in central Jiangsu and the best in north Jiangsu.Conclusions1.In the past 2011-2016 years,the number of health services has been increasing,the level of health services has been continuously improved,the service efficiency of healthcare institutions have been increasing,and the healthcare reform has achieved remarkable effects in Jiangsu.2.In the past 2011-2016 years,the inequity of health services,such as outpatient services and inpatient services,has been increasing in varying degrees.The inequity of the outpatient services is the most serious and needs to be improved.3.The economic level and the allocation of health resources have been still the main factors affecting the equity of health service utilization.It is necessary for the government,the health sectors and the healthcare institutions to explore and improve the equity of health service utilization from various aspects and levels,such as rational allocation of health resources,standardized classification and treatment system,and prevention of chronic disease management mode...
