Clinical Observation Of Tong Du Decoction In The Treatment Of Degenerative Lumbar Spinal Stenosis(Qi-deficiency And Blood Stasis Syndrome)

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Tong Du Decoction in the treatment of degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis(Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome).To evaluate the safety of Tong Du decoction.Methods:60 patients with degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis who met the requirements of this trial were selected as the subjects.they were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group.the two groups were given basic treatment.On this basis,the treatment group was treated with Tong Du Decoction and the control group was treated with Dan Lu Tong Du tablet.the treatment cycle of the two groups was 4 weeks.the TCM syndromes score,VAS score and JOA score of two groups before and after treatment were observed and recorded.Statistical analysis of various indicators to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the two groups.Results:1.the comparison of each observation index in the group:In the treatment group,the TCM syndromes score was12.33±1.32 before treatment and5.63±1.47 after treatment(t=22.053,P<0.05),VAS score was 5.87±1.01 before treatment and 3.70±0.75 after treatment(t=9.842,P<0.05),subjective symptoms score was4.37±0.98 before treatment and6.27±0.91 after treatment(t=-9.143,P<0.05),clinical signs score was3.70±0.75 before treatment and4.87±0.73 after treatment(t=-9.143,P<0.05),daily activity limitation score was6.20±1.09 before treatment and10.43±1.01 after treatment(t=-15.444,P<0.05).the differences of various observation indexes were statistically significant.In the control group,the TCM syndromes score was12.07±1.78 before treatment and5.80±1.92 after treatment(t=12.639,P<0.05),VAS score was 5.43±1.10 before treatment and 4.53±1.11 after treatment(t=6.139,P<0.05),subjective symptoms score was4.13±1.07 before treatment and4.93±0.95 after treatment(t=-9.270,P<0.05),clinical signs score was3.93±0.87 before treatment and5.23±0.73 after treatment(t=-7.992,P<0.05),daily activity limitation score was6.43±1.43 before treatment and9.27±1.52 after treatment(t=-20.785,P<0.05).the differences of various observation indexes were statistically significant.2.the comparison of various observation groups after treatment:the TCM syndromes score was 5.63±1.47 in treatment group and 5.80±1.92 in control group(t=-0.377,P=0.707>0.05).the difference was not statistically significant.VAS score was3.70±0.75 in treatment group and 4.53±1.11 in control group(t=-3.416,P=0.001<0.05).the difference was statistically significant..Subjective symptoms score score was6.27±0.91 in treatment group and 4.93±0.95 in control group(t=-0.377,P<0.05).the difference was statistically significant.Clinical signs score was 4.87±0.73 in treatment group and 5.23±0.73 in control group(t=-1.948,P=0.056>0.05).the difference was not statistically significant.Daily activity limitation score was10.43±1.01 in treatment group and 9.27±1.52 in control group(t=2.294,P=0.021<0.05).the difference was statistically significant.3.the comparison of the curative effect after treatment in the two groups:In the treatment group,2 cases(6.7%)were cured,14 cases(46.7%)were markedly effective,11 cases(36.7%)were effective,3 cases(10%)were invalid,and the total effective rate was 90%.In the control group,1 cases(3.3%)were cured,12 cases(40%)were markedly effective,13 cases(43.3%)were effective,4 cases(13.3%)were invalid,and the total effective rate was 86.7%.there was no significant difference between the two groups by the nonparametric rank sum test,z=-0.840,P=0.401(P>0.05).4.During the observation period,there were 2 mild adverse reactions in the control group,but no effect on the whole treatment.there was no obvious adverse reaction in the treatment group.Conclusion:1.Both Tong Du decoction and Danlu Tong Du tablet can effectively treat degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis(Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome),however,there is no significant difference between the effects of two drugs.2.In the treatment of degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis(Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome),Tong Du decoction can improve the subjective symptoms of pain and the degree of limitation of daily life.the effect is better than that of Dan Lu Tong Du tablet.3.Tong Du decoction is safe for degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis(Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome).It is worthy of clinical promotion.
