This study summarizes the development status of traditional Chinese medicine formula granules at home and abroad,and deeply studies the main problems encountered in the development of Chinese traditional medicine formula granules and their causes.It takes a case study of a Grade III,Level A hospital of Chinese medicine in Jilin Province to understand the clinical use of traditional Chinese medicine formula granules,and put forward opinions and suggestions from the perspective of strengthening development.This study presents the status quo of traditional Chinese medicine formula granules and analyzes the existing problems and development advantages through data mainly by literature research,questionnaires and statistical analysis.The study believes that traditional Chinese medicine formula granules and traditional Chinese herbal medicine have their own advantages and disadvantages.The formula granules show distinctive features,and are easy to use.However,there are also problems that whether they are equivalent with traditional Chinese medicine and doctors and patients are lack of understanding of the formula granules.Hence we should select the more suitable one to use according to clinical needs.In addition,the study proposed some suggestions,which are strengthening market supervision to improve the standards of Chinese medicine formula granules,strengthening publicity to raise public awareness of Chinese medicine formula granules,optimizing the preparation process to reduce the price of finished products and strengthening the research on the difference between Chinese medicine formula granules and Chinese traditional medicine to improve the efficacy of formula granules.
