| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Jiawei Fuzi Lizhong Decoction in the treatment of functional diarrhea of Yang deficiency type under the guidance of the theory of original Yin and Yang structure of the human body,and to explore the potential mechanism of this theory in treating functional diarrhea of Yang deficiency type,so as to provide new ideas and evidence-based medical evidence for the diagnosis and treatment of functional diarrhea of traditional Chinese medicine.Methods: Seventy-two patients with functional diarrhea of Yang deficiency type who were admitted to our hospital from October 2017 to November 2018 were enrolled in this study.They were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 36 cases in each group.The observation group was treated with Jiawei Fuzi Lizhong Decoction,and the control group was treated with Bifidobacterium Sanlian Huo Capsule.The two groups were treated for 4 weeks and followed up for 4 weeks after the end of the treatment.The fecal scores before and after treatment,the hospital anxiety and depression scale(HAD)scores,the total scores of TCM symptoms,and the TCM single symptom scores were compared to observe the clinical efficacy,safety,and recurrence rate.Results:(1)After 4 weeks of treatment,the fecal score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.01),indicating that the effect of the observation group on fecal characteristics and frequency of defecation was better than that of the control group.(2)After 4weeks of treatment,the scores of the hospital anxiety and depression scale-anxiety(HADA)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.01);the scores of the hospital anxiety and depression scale-depression(HADD)were not significantly different between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that the effect of the observation group on anxiety symptoms was better than that of the control group,and the effect of the two groups on depressive symptoms was similar.(3)After 4 weeks of treatment,the total scores of TCM symptoms in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.01);the scores of single symptoms in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),especially in the four aspects of cold limbs,fatigue,laziness and weakness of waist and knee(P<0.01).The scores of bowel movements and stools in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in digestive symptoms scores of traits,poor appetite and abdominal distension between the two groups(P>0.05).(4)The total effective rate was 94.29% in the observation group and 74.29% in the control group.The total effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P< 0.05).(5)The recurrence rate was 14.29%in the observation group and 45.71% in the control group.The recurrence rate in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P< 0.01).(6)There were no obvious adverse events in the two groups during the treatment period,and the safety was reliable.Conclusion:(1)Based on the theory of the theory of original Yin and Yang structure of the human body,Jiawei Fuzi Lizhong Decoction was used to treat functional diarrhea of Yang deficiency type,that can significantly improve stool characteristics and reduce the frequency of defecation,alleviate anxiety and depression,improve TCM syndromes,and reduce the recurrence rate of 4weeks.Its clinical efficacy is better than Live Combined Bifidobacterium,Lactobacillus and Enterococcus Capsules,Oral's,which is safe and reliable.(2)Taking Yin and Yang as the breakthrough point of understanding and using the theory of the ontology structure of internal Yang and external Yin to guide the dialectical treatment,the theory and practice of treating diarrhea in traditional Chinese medicine have been enriched,which has important clinical and research guiding significance. |
