Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Yiqishuxuetongmai Prescription on patients with cerebral infarction at convalescence of qi deficiency and phlegm stagnation syndrome. Methods: Sixty patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received routine basic treatment, and the observation group was treated with Yiqishuxuetongmai Prescription on the basis of the control group.NIHSS scale, the ability of daily life(ADL)assessment of the Barthel index scale, and the TCM syndrome score were used for assessing treatment effects at prior treatment and after treatment for 4 weeks. The clinical efficacy and safety of the two groups were evaluated.Results:(1)The NHISS scores of both groups decreased, and there were differences between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05).The improvement of NHISS score in the observation group was more significantly different than that in the control group(P<0.05).(2)The scores of the ability of daily life(ADL)assessment of the Barthel index scale of both groups decreased, and there were differences between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the improvement of ADL score in the observation group was more significant than that in the control group(P<0.05).(3)The scores of TCM syndrome in both groups improved, and there were differences between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the improvement of TCM syndrome score in the observation group was more significant than that in the control group(P<0.05).(4)Safety evaluation:There were no abnormalities in blood routine, urine routine, stool routine, electrocardiogram and liver and kidney function in the two groups, and there no adverse reactions such as allergies were found during drug treatment. Conclusions: Yiqishuxuetongmai Prescription is effective on patients with cerebral infarction at convalescence of qi deficiency and phlegm stagnation syndrome. It has no toxic side effects and adverse reactions, and it has good clinical application value.
