Clinical Study Of Buyang Huanwu Decoction Combined With Lotus Needle Cupping And Stasis Removing Method In Zhuang Medicine In The Treatment Of Shoulder-Hand Syndrome After Stroke

Objective:To study the clinical efficacy and safety of Buyang Huanwu Decoction combined with Lotus Needle Cupping and Stasis Removing Method in Zhuang Medicine for shoulder-hand syndrome(SHS)after stroke.Methods:Sixty SHS patients were randomly divided into two groups,30 in each group,according to the random number table method.The control group was given basic treatment and routine rehabilitation treatment,while the treatment group was treated with Buyang Huanwu Decoction combined with Lotus Needle Cupping and Stasis Removing Method in Zhuang Medicine on the basis of the control group.The course of treatment was 35 days in both groups.The changes of visual analogue pain score(VAS),activity of daily living(ADL),upper limb Fugl-Meyer scale(FMA)and swelling score were observed before and after treatment in the two groups,and the clinical therapeutic effect was evaluated.Results:A total of 60 patients were collected in this study.There were no abscission cases and no withdrawal cases.(1)Baseline comparison:(1)The results showed that there was no significant difference in gender,age and course of disease between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05),so the baseline comparison between the two groups was comparable.(2)Visual analogue pain score(VAS),activity of daily living(ADL),upper limb Fugl-Meyer scale(FMA)and swelling score were compared between the two groups before treatment.The results were P > 0.05,suggesting that there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment and there was comparability.(2)Curative effect comparison:(1)Comprehensive curative effect comparison of shoulder-hand syndrome: the total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.00%,and that of the control group was 73.33%.The total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group.By rank sum test,P <0.05,the difference was significant.(2)Visual analogue pain score(VAS),activity of daily living assessment(ADL),upper limb Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA)and swelling score were compared: after treatment,the two groups were better than before,and after treatment,the improvement of each index in the treatment group was better than that in the control group.Sample t test,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion : Buyang Huanwu Decoction combined with Lotus Needle Cupping and Stasis Removing Method in Zhuang Medicine can obviously relieve the pain of SHS affected limbs,eliminate swelling,improve the motor function of affected upper limbs,improve the ability of daily living,and promote the rehabilitation of patients,without adverse reactions,with good safety.
