Treatment Of Antibiotic-associated Diarrhea With Junhuang Intestine-protective Mixture For Spleen-deficiency And Dampness-rich Type: A Clinical Observation

Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of Junhuang intestine-protective mixture on antibiotic-associated diarrhea due to spleen-deficiency and dampness-rich,and to provide the basis for the treatment of antibiotic-associated diarrhea(spleen-deficiency and dampness-rich type)with Junhuang intestine-protective mixture.Methods:Sixty patients with antibiotic-associated diarrhea were divided into treatment group and control group according to the order of visit and the principle of random and control.There were 30 samples in each group.The treatment group was treated with basic internal medicine treatment and Junhuang intestine-protective mixture,and the control group was treated with smectite powder for the basic treatment of Bifidobacterium Lactobacillus triplet,and the course of treatment was 1 week.The main and secondary symptom scores,TCM syndrome integral,clinical effective rate and stool routine mold were observed before and after treatment in the two groups.Results:1.The total effective rate was 96.7% in the control group and 90% in the control group.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).The clinical healing rate of the treatment group was 80%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(P < 0.05).2.Junhuang intestine-protective mixture could effectively improve the scores of main and secondary symptoms and the scores of TCM syndromes,which hadstatistical significance compared with the control group(P < 0.05).3.Junhuang intestine-protective mixture can improve the change of routine mold in stool,the clinical efficacy after treatment was comparable to that of the control group.4.During the treatment,there were no obvious adverse reactions in both groups.Conclusions:1.Clinical efficacy of Junhuang intestine-protective mixture in treating antibiotic-associated diarrhea(spleen-deficiency and dampness-rich type)is definite,and the treatment group was obviously better than the control group.2.Junhuang intestine-protective mixture can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of AAD patients with spleen-deficiency and dampness-rich,especially for improving the frequency and character of defecation,abdominal pain and intestinal tinnitus,fullness,head and body difficulty and other symptoms,the safety is good,no toxic and side effects,it is worth popularizing and applying in clinic.
