Objective: To observe the effect of circulatory moxibustion on cerebral posterior circulation blood supply and its clinical effect on posterior circulation ischemic vertigo, and to provide theoretical basis for the treatment of posterior circulation ischemic vertigo with circulatory moxibustion. Methods: A total of 90 patients with posterior circulation ischemic vertigo who met the inclusion criteria in the department of neurology, ruikang hospital affiliated to guangxi university of traditional Chinese medicine from September 2016 to May 2018 were selected in a randomized, controlled clinical study. The patients were randomly divided into control group A,control group B,and treatment group with 30 cases in each group. The control group B combined conventional moxibustion therapy on the basis of the western medicine treatment scheme of the control group A,and the treatment group combined circular moxibustion therapy on the basis of the western medicine treatment scheme of the control group A.The sample included 41 males and 49 females.3 groups of treatment for 2 weeks, observe the clinical effects of three groups after treatment,Including TCM syndrome points of vertigo,DHI-S,DARS and cerebrovascular transcranial doppler(TCD)detection in posterior circulation system mainly bilateral vertebral artery(VA)and basilar artery(BA)and posterior cerebral artery(PCA)is a standard of systolic peak flow velocity(Vs)and mean blood flow velocity(Vm).Results: 1.Score for clinical symptoms evaluation of vertigo: there was no significant difference in the score for clinical symptoms evaluation of vertigo among the three groups before treatment(F=0.24,P > 0.05),and the score for all three groups after treatment was significantly decreased, and the score for treatment group was significantly lower than that for control group B and control group A,and the score for control group B was significantly lower than that for control group A(F=8.77,P < 0.05).It was suggested that the clinical symptom score of the patients in the three groups was lower after treatment than before treatment, and the improvement of the clinical symptoms of posterior circulation ischemic vertigo by combined moxibustion was significantly better than that by conventional moxibustion and simple western medicine treatment.2.DARS: There was no statistical difference in DARS score between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05),and the lowest in the treatment group after treatment, followed by the control group B,and the highest in the control group A,with statistical difference in pairwise comparison(P < 0.05).It was suggested that the vertigo scores of the three groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment, and the improvement of vertigo symptoms in the treatment group was better than that in the control group A and control group B.3.DHI-S: There was no significant difference among the three groups(P > 0.05).After treatment,dhi-s of different groups was significantly reduced, and both the treatment group and the control group B were significantly lower than the control group A,and the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group B,with statistical differences in pair-wise comparison(P < 0.05).It is suggested that the combined moxibustion group is significantly superior to the conventional moxibustion and western medicine alone in the improvement of the disorder caused by posterior circulation ischemic vertigo.4.After treatment,Vs and Vm in the treatment group of bilateral vertebral artery, basilar artery and posterior cerebral artery were significantly higher than those in the control group B and control group A,with significant pairous difference(P < 0.05),suggesting that circulatory moxibustion can effectively improve the velocity of posterior cerebral circulation vessels and cerebral blood circulation.Conclusion:(1)the effect of western medicine combined with circulatory moxibustion on vertigo is better than that of simple western medicine combined with common moxibustion.(2)the application of circulatory moxibustion can increase the blood flow velocity of cerebral artery and improve the cerebral blood supply.
