The Research On The Criteria Of Diagnosis And Therapeutic Effect On Diseases And Syndromes Of Pediatrics Asthma In Traditional Chinese Medicine

Purpose:The main aim is to revise ’ZY/T001.4-94 the Criteria of Diagnosis and Therapeutic Effect of Diseases and Syndromes of Pediatrics Asthma in Traditional Chinese Medicine’.In order to make a more scientific,reasonable,standardized and practical TCM field standard in children asthma,which can reflect the latest results of western medicine and the characteristics of TCM at the same time,the revision is conducted on the basis of the theory of the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine and combined with expert consensus method and other technical strategies,using the abundant results of modern sciences.Method:The revision is based on ’ZY/T001.4-94 the Criteria of Diagnosis and Therapeutic Effect of Diseases and Syndromes of Pediatrics Asthma in Traditional Chinese Medicine’.Firstly,we made great efforts to searching and summing up Asthma-related literature.Secondly,we designed and formed two rounds of expert questionnaires according to Delphi Method’s basic principle and the characteristic of children asthma,as well as the themes of formed consensus.The first round of the expert questionnaires was designed after the literature review.We made a combination of the primarily selected factors and opening inquiries to experts.The second round of questionnaires mainly depended on the method of objective scoring and expert’s specific opinions and suggestions.After analyzing the results of the two-round-questionnaires and discussing with the team members of the project,the first draft was made.After that,we convened a meeting of experts of TCM Pediactrics and standardization research.Some TCM and Integrative Medicine experts and specialist of TCM Literature also joined in the expert group.At the meeting,experts held in-depth face-to-face discussions on the draft formulated by the project working group,especially the controversial contents,such as asthma staging and the observation time limit of curative effect evaluation.The team emended the draft in light of comments and submitted it to the Pediatric Expert Steering Group and public consultation for review.After soliciting public opinions,the draft for review was finished.Finally,the working group summarized and collated the results of literature search,basic information of experts,expert opinions at all stages,and completed the standard draft reported for approval.Result:The draft of revision of the Criteria of diagnosis and therapeutic effect on diseases and syndromes of Pediatrics Asthma in traditional Chinese medicine was formed.It will be released as the latest TCM field standard,after reporting to technical committee for standardization of TCM and relative competent authority.Conclusion:With the framework of clinical efficacy evaluation system of traditional Chinese medicine under the mode of combination of disease and syndrome,the revised criterion is not only in compliance with the latest international and domestic guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of children asthma,but also can help provide new directions for experimental research.The standard revision strategy formed in the process is a supplement to the methodology of establishing the evaluation system of clinical efficacy of TCM.It provides new ideas and methods for standardization research,and can enrich and improve the standardization work of TCM.
