The Research Status Of Family Caregivers Of Elderly Patients With High-Risk Pressure Injury

Objective1 The purpose of this study was to investigate the current status of caring ability of family caregivers in elderly patients with high-risk pressure injuries,and to analyze the influencing factors of caring ability of family caregivers in elderly patients with high-risk stress injuries.2 To explore the relationship between the caring ability of family caregivers in high-risk elderly patients with age-related pressure injuries,the status of health literacy and social support status.3 To provide a basis for improving the care capacity and level of family caregivers,in order to prevent and reduce the incidence of stress injuries in elderly patients,aimed to provide a theoretical basis for the development of family caregivers offered relevant service measures.MethodsA convenient sampling method was adopted to select 180 patients and their family caregivers who met the high-risk pressure criteria for the elderly in a third-grade hospital in the city of Dalian from November 2017 to July 2018.General Information Questionnaire,Braden Pressure Ulcer Risk Assessment Scale,Caregiver Care Capacity Measurement Scale,Caregiver Pressure Sore Cognition Questionnaire(partial),Social Support Scale,2008 China Citizen Health Literacy Questionnaire for patients and caregivers Questionnaire.Statistical analysis,t-test,one-way analysis of variance,Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were performed using SPSS 24.0,with P<0.05 as the statistically significant difference criterion.Results1 Family carers' caring ability scores in elderly patients with high-risk pressure injuriesThe total care capacity of family caregivers in elderly patients with high-risk pressure injury was(21.01�6.50).The dimension of the dimension from high to low was the adjustment of personal life and the satisfaction of nursing needs(6.73�1.70),and the dimension of adaptive care role(5.22 � 1.61).Dividing and processing the individual's emotional dimension(4.12�1.07)points,the strain needs and providing the assistance dimension(3.25 � 1.04)points,and assessing the family and community resource dimensions(1.69�1.08)points.Comparing the scores of the dimensions of the caregivers of the family caregivers in the elderly with high-risk pressure injury and the norm,it was found that the scores of the �evaluation of family and community resources � were lower than the norm(t = 20.36,P < 0.001),other dimensions.(Adjusting personal life and meeting the needs of care,adapting to the role of care,handling personal emotions,responding needs and providing assistance)scores were higher than the norm,and both were statistically significant(t=52.75,t=43.24,t=51.04,t=41.27,P<0.001).2 Single factor analysis of caring ability of family carersUnivariate analysis showed that the age of the family caregiver,the relationship with the patient,the health status,the education level,whether or not the patient lived with the patient,the average daily care time and the understanding of the disease were statistically different from the family caregiver's ability to score.Academic significance(P<0.05).3 Correlation analysis of caring ability of family carersA bivariate Pearson correlation analysis was performed on the caregiver's ability score and the caregiver's pressure sore cognition score,social support dimension scores,social support scores,and health literacy scores.The results showed that the total score of caregivers' care ability was negatively correlated with the caregiver's pressure sore cognition score,social support score,basic health literacy dimension score,and safetyfirst aid literacy dimension score(r=-0.152,-0.150,P<0.05;r=-0.261,-0.208,P<0.01).4 Multiple linear regression analysis of caring ability of family carersMultiple linear regression analysis showed that the two variables of the caregiver's educational level and health status entered the regression equation(P<0.01).Conclusion1 The care capacity of family carers in elderly patients with high-risk stress injuries is at a medium level,and the ability to care needs to be further improved.In the family caregiver capacity scale for elderly patients with high-risk stress injuries,in addition to the � evaluation of family and community resources � dimension care capacity is higher than the domestic norm,the other dimensions of care capacity are lower than the norm.The society should increase the attention to the caregiver group and give caregivers more care and support.2 The educational level and health status of family carers are important factors influencing the caring ability of family carers.Provide caregivers' training and health education lectures to caregivers on a regular basis to improve the disease-related knowledge of the caregiver community.3 The higher the cognitive score of the home caregiver's stress injury,the stronger the caring ability of the family carer.The mission of stress injury should be increased to enable patients and family caregivers to understand the hazards of stress injuries and provide targeted protection training to caregivers.4 The higher the social support score of the family carer,the stronger the caring ability of the family carer.Concentrate on social forces and provide comprehensive support for caregivers in terms of subjectivity,objectivity,and social utilization.5 The higher the scores of the family keeper's health literacy(basic health literacy and safety first aid literacy),the stronger the caring ability.In terms of knowledge,attitudes,behaviors,and skills,we will carry out health literacy promotion activities,teach health care knowledge to caregivers,transform health concepts,and promote the formation of caregivers' scientific and health concepts.
