[Objective]:This study conducted a Meta-analysis over the domestic and abroad references concerning the risk factors of type 2 diabetes mellitus with hyperuricemia.Aiming at providing a scientific basis for the prevention and control of the disease.[Methods]:PubMed,EMBASE,Oxford,Web of Science,China Journal Full-Text Database(CNKI),Vip Database(VIP),Wanfang Database,China Biomedical Database(CBM)were searched for published observational studies on risk factors associated with hyperuricemia in type 2 diabetes mellitus. The retrieval time was from the establishment of the database to the publication of Chinese and English documents in October 2018.English and Chinese search terms include"Diabetes mellitus,Type 2 diabetes mellitus,Hyperuricemia,Risk factors".Select literature and extract data according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria.Quality assessment was made by using Newcastle Ottawa Scale(NOS).Meta-analysis was performed using STATA 12.0 and Review Manager 5.3 software, and the odds ratio(OR)and 95%confidence interval(95%CI)of each study factor were counted.Fixed-effect model or random-effect model were selected according to the results of heterogeneity test, and published bias detection and sensitivity analysis were carried out for the included studies.[Results]:A total of 1814 articles, excluding the literatures met the inclusion criteria,18literatures were identified, including 14 case-control studies and 4 cross-sectional studies.A total of 13,785 subjects were included in the study.TC was positively associated with the risk of type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with hyperuricemia(OR=1.133,95%CI:1.052~1.220;I~2=22.4%).Publication bias was not detected in these studies(p=1.000 and 0.429 in Begg's test and Egger's test, respectively),and the test results were all p>0.05,indicating that the publication bias test had less effect on the results.TG was positively associated with the risk of type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with hyperuricemia(OR=1.416,95%CI:1.250~1.604;I~2=75.7%).Publication bias was detected in these studies(p=0.032 and 0.028 in Begg's test and Egger's test, respectively),and the test results were all p<0.05,indicating that there may be publication bias.BMI was positively associated with the risk of type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with hyperuricemia(OR=1.222,95%CI:1.125~1.328;I~2=83.2%).Publication bias was detected in these studies(p=0.021 and 0.003 in Begg's test and Egger's test, respectively),and the test results were all p<0.05,indicating that there may be publication bias.SBP was positively associated with the risk of type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with hyperuricemia(OR=1.013,95%CI:1.001~1.025;I~2=53.3%).Publication bias was not detected in these studies(p=1.000 and 0.895 in Begg's test and Egger's test, respectively),and the test results were all p>0.05,indicating that the publication bias test had less effect on the results.Hb1Ac was negatively correlated with the risk of type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with hyperuricemia(OR=0.832,95%CI:0.693~0.999;I~2=82.5%).Publication bias was not detected in these studies(p=0.711and 0.559 in Begg's test and Egger's test, respectively),and the test results were all p>0.05,indicating that the publication bias test had less influence on the results.Drinking was not associated with the risk of type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with hyperuricemia(OR=1.209,95%CI:0.814~1.797;I~2=65.0%).Publication bias was not detected in these studies(p=0.462 and 0.567 in Begg's test and Egger's test, respectively),and the test results were all p>0.05,indicating that the publication bias test had less effect on the results.Sensitivity analyses after excluding one study at a time were performed to assess the stability of the results. The sensitivity analyses results showed confidence interval combined effect point was located in the total amount of the effect, that the results of the analysis were relatively stable and reliable.[Conclusion]:Hb1Ac,TC,TG,BMI and SBP were associated with the risk of type 2diabetes mellitus complicated with hyperuricemia. The risk factors of type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with hyperuricemia were TC,TG,BMI and SBP;Hb1Ac was a negative correlation factor of type 2 diabetes mellitus with hyperuricemia;Drinking was not associated with the risk of type 2 diabetes mellitus with hyperuricemia.
