Objective: Ischemic ophthalmopathy is one of the blind diseases of ophthalmology, which seriously affects the quality of patients’ life. The disease is mainly caused by changes in blood flow to the ophthalmic artery and central retinal artery of the eye due to various reasons.Because most of the ophthalmic arteries originate from the internal carotid artery, carotid atherosclerotic plaques and stenotic diseases will affect the blood supply to the eye. This study used high-frequency ultrasound to explore the hemodynamic changes of the posterior vascular in patients with ischemic eye disease and its correlation with carotid artery disease.Method: We selected 57 patients with monocular ischemic eye disease diagnosed by our department of ophthalmology at 2017.01-2018.10,and 50 patients with normal at the same time.1.To investigate the Ocular hemodynamic changes of the ischemic ophthalmopathy patients : experimental group : patient’s diseased eye(57 cases);control group : patient’s contralateral healthy eye(57 cases).2.To investigate the relationship between ocular ischemia and carotid plaque and stenosis in ischemic ophthalmopathy patients: experimental group : patient with common and internal carotid artery(57 cases),control group : normal person with right common and internal carotid artery(50 cases). All subjects underwent high-frequency color Doppler ultrasonography of binocular blood vessel and bilateral neck vessels.1.Patients with ischemic eye disease were recorded: peak systolic velocity,end-diastolic blood flow velocity, and resistance index of the bilateral ophthalmic artery and central retinal artery.Observing the spectrum form and collecting the retinal circulation time of both fundus fluorescein angiography in all patients with ischemic eye disease.2.Observing and recording whether there is plaque in the carotid artery, the location, size and nature of plaque of Ischemic eye disease patients and the right carotid artery of the normal control group and calculating the degree of stenosis of carotid artery. To analyze the hemodynamic changes of the posterior vascular blood vessels in patients with ischemic eye disease and the relationship between the disease and the carotid plaque properties and degree of stenosis.Result: 1.Compared with the contralateral healthy eye,the systolic peak flow velocity and end-diastolic blood flow velocity of the ocular artery and the central retinal artery were all decreased, the resistance increased, and the spectrum morphology changed(P<0.05).The difference was statistically significant. The retinal circulation time of the arm was significantly prolonged(P<0.05).2.There was a correlation between IOP and severe carotid stenosis(P<0.05),and IOP patients were associated with the incidence of unstable carotid plaque,(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.In patients with ischemic ophthalmopathy, the systolic and end-diastolic blood flow velocities of the ophthalmic artery and central retinal artery were all decreased, the resistance index was increased, the blood flow spectrum was abnormal, and A-RCT was significantly prolonged.2.The occurrence of ischemic ophthalmopathy is associated with severe stenosis of the carotid artery and the unstable carotid plaque.
