Objective:By establishing rat model of chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG)of Spleen-stomach deficiency-cold type,the significance of expression of NF-kappa B signaling pathway in CAG rats of Spleen-stomach defici ency-cold type was explored,which provided experimental basis for the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis of Spleen-stomach deficiency-col d type by Lizhong pill.Methods:Forty-eight SD rats,half male and half female,were selected to establish a blank control group of 12 rats and a CAG model of Spl een-stomach deficiency and cold type of 36 rats.The CAG rat model of Spleen-stomach deficiency and cold type was established by 60% etha nol,2mmol/L sodium deoxycholate and 30% ethanol.Modeling time was12 weeks,and the models were observed under the microscope at 4,6 and 8 weeks.After successful modeling,they were randomly divided into model group,vitacoenzyme group and Lizhong pill group.After suc cessful modeling,they were randomly divided into model group,vitacoe nzyme group and Lizhong pill group.Rats in blank group and model gr oup were fed normally without intervention.Rats in Lizhong pill group were fed with Lizhong pill 0.94g/kg daily for 8 weeks.The rats in the vitacoenzyme group were fed with vitamin 0.25g/kg daily for 8 weeks.After administration,the appearance,spleen-stomach deficiency-cold syn drome and gastric histomorphology of rats were observed,and the expr essions of NF-?Bp65,I?B-? and NF-?BmRNA in gastric mucosa of rat s were detected.Results:Rats in model group were thin in shape,withered back hair,du ll in activity,loose stool,contaminated around anus and small in size.Spleen-stomach deficiency and cold syndrome was significant,and the sc ore of syndrome was higher than that of blank group(P<0.05),and the index of gastric mucosal injury increased(P<0.05).Microscopic observ ation conformed to the pathological diagnostic criteria of chronic atrophi c gastritis.The expression of NF-?Bp65 and I?B-? in gastric mucosa w as high,and the expression level of NF-?BmRNA was increased(P<0.05).Lizhong pill can improve gastric mucosal damage,reduce pH value,increase total gastric acidity,reduce gland atrophy of gastric mucosa a nd alleviate inflammation in rats with chronic atrophic gastritis of Splee n-stomach deficiency-cold type.There was no significant difference bet ween Lizhong pill and vitacoenzyme group(P>0.05).Lizhong pill can r educe the expression of NF-?Bp65,I?B-? and NF-?BmRNA in gastric mucosa.Lizhong pill group is better than vitamin group(P<0.05).Conclusions:Lizhong Pill can effectively improve the syndrome characte ristics,gastric mucosal damage,reduce the pH value of gastric acid,in crease the total gastric acidity and restore the function of gastric mucos al cells secreting gastric acid in CAG rats with spleen-stomach deficien cy-cold syndrome.Its mechanism may be related to Lizhong Pill inhibiti ng the expression of I?B-?,NF-?Bp65 and NF-?BmRNA in the signal pathway of NF-?B.
