Objective: at present,China has experienced more than 30 years of medical and health system reform.During this time,the role of public hospitals to be reckoned with,and it is connected drug supplies,health care,as well as a bridge between the government and the people,by eliminating the new medical reform of public hospitals drug addition,breaking the "medicine for the medical" survival mode,this is a breach of national system for basic drugs,since public hospitals have implementation,the lack of government subsidies and lagging performance management and a series of problems,and hospital in order to generate income and excessive pursuit of economic interests,ignoring its public welfare,public hospital needs to improve the existing performance management system to cope with the new situation.Methods: based on performance management theory,target management theory and public product theory,this paper studies and analyzes the development background,current situation and existing problems of performance management in public hospitals in China in the context of zero drug difference rate in public hospitals.Conclusion: taking A public hospital as an example,this paper discusses its advantages and disadvantages in the practice of performance management.Aiming at the shortcomings,this paper makes A comprehensive analysis and reflection,and puts forward countermeasures and Suggestions for the reform and improvement of performance management in public hospitals.Social responsibility indicators should be implemented to reflect the public welfare of public hospitals.Actively change wrong ideas,improve the scientific understanding of performance management;Scientific establishment of performance management system to promote the circular operation of performance management;Set up the performance management information platform to provide technical support for performance management;Clear responsibility main body status,firmly grasp the performance reform policy direction;Promote the introduction of relevant laws and regulations to create a good business environment;Establish a social supervision mechanism and attach importance to external evaluation.
