Objective1 Structure the Information nursing programme based on OPT model.2 To verify the effect of information nursing scheme based on OPT model in reducing the information needs of breast cancer patients, improving their positive coping style and quality of life, and provide new reference for clinical nursing work.Methods1 Structure the Information Nursing Scheme of OPT Model The breast cancer information support questionnaire was compiled by literature method and expert consultation method, and the breast cancer information nursing database was established as a catalogue. The Breast Cancer Knowledge Manual was made, and intervention tools such as network information platform and patient health information exchange group were built.Researchers use the above tools to assess patients' information needs, implement personalized information nursing, and retrospect the reasons for the failure to achieve the desired goals based on the effect feedback, and give targeted solutions until the status quo is consistent with the expected outcome, forming the information nursing scheme of OPT model.2 Verify the Information Nursing Scheme of OPT Model Information Nursing Scheme to Verify OPT Model This study used a non-synchronous controlled trial, selected 38 breast cancer patients who met the exclusion criteria from January to May2018 as the control group, and 38 breast cancer patients who met the criteria from June to October 2018 as the experimental group. The patients in the control group were given routine health education, while the patients in the experimental group were given information nursing based on OPT model. The study lasted for 3 months.Theinformation needs, coping styles and quality of life of breast cancer patients were assessed by supportive care needs scale, medical coping questionnaire and quality of life scale at admission, before first chemotherapy and 3 months after surgery.SPSS24.0software was used for statistical analysis. The scores of quality of life, information needs and coping styles were different between the two groups before and after repeated measures of variance analysis. Two independent sample t test was used to compare the quality of life, information needs and coping styles between the two groups.Results1 36 patients in the control group and 36 patients in the experimental group completed the study, and the rate of missing follow-up was 5.2%.2 After the intervention, the scores of information needs of both groups decreased. The scores of information needs of the experimental group at each time point after the intervention were significantly lower than those of the control group at the same time(t T1=2.80,P=0.007;t T2=7.56,P<0.001),and the decrease of the scores of the experimental group before the first chemotherapy was significantly greater than that of the control group(F= 16.244,P<0.001).3 After intervention, the scores of coping style in the control group decreased, the scores of avoidance and yield dimension increased slightly, while those in the experimental group increased. The scores of avoidance dimension did not change significantly, and the scores of yield dimension decreased. The scores of face dimension in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group at each time point after intervention(t T1=-3.57,P=0.001;t T2=5.47,P<0.001),while the scores of avoidance and yield dimension were lower than those in the control group(t avoidance T1=4.06,P=0.001;t avoidance T2=4.87,P<0.001;t yield T1=4.36,P=0.001;t yield T2=5.25,P<0.001).At each time point after intervention, the increase of scores in the experimental group was significantly greater than that in the control group(F=25.455,P<0.001),and the decrease of avoidance and yield scores was significantly greater than that in the control group(F avoidance = 15.803,P <0.001;F yield = 23.579,P<0.001).4 After the intervention, the scores of quality of life in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group at each time point(t T1=-3.36,P=0.001;t T2=-4.77,P<0.001),and the decrease of the scores in the experimental group was significantly greater than that in the control group(F=5.052,P=0.009).ConclusionThe information nursing scheme based on OPT model can effectively meet the information needs of breast cancer patients in three stages: preoperative stage,post-operative stage to chemotherapy stage and chemotherapy stage. It can help patients face the disease positively, reduce the negative attitude of avoiding and surrendering, and ultimately improve the quality of life of patients.
