Objectives:To investigate the value and correlation analysis of red blood cell distribution width(RDW)in the assessment of patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS).Method:Sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(obstructive)was selected from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from September 2016 to December 2018 by Polysomnography(PSG).112 patients were in the case group, and 61 healthy subjects with age, gender, and body mass index were selected as the control group. All the subjects’sleep-breathing monitoring data and early-season fasting peripheral venous blood were collected and obtained relevant indicators.:apnea hypopnea index(AHI),mean oxygen saturation, minimum oxygen saturation, sleep recording time, apnea time, red blood cell distribution width(RDW),white blood cell count(WBC),red blood cell count(RBC),hemoglobin(Hb),mean red blood cell volume(MCV),platelet count(PLT),and the like. The value and multivariate analysis of RDW in the evaluation of OSAHS disease assessment were analyzed in the case group.Result:There were no significant differences in age, gender, and BMI between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05),and there was no significant difference in the comorbidities. The RDW level in the OSAHS group was significantly higher than that in the healthy control group. The RDW value increased gradually with the severity of OSAHS and was positively correlated with the apnea index(AHI)(r=0.259).The RDW was negatively correlated with the lowest SaO2(r=-0.279),the mean SaO2 was negatively correlated(r=-0.328),negatively correlated with sleep time(r=-0.204),positively correlated with body mass index(BMI)(r=0.203);RDW and mean pause time There was no correlation between the longest pause time(P>0.05).The AHI index was negatively correlated with mean blood oxygenation(r=-0.406),negatively correlated with the lowest blood oxygenation(r=-0.518),and positively correlated with the mean pause time(r=0.296);the AHI index and the longest pause time were absent.correlation(P>0.05).Conclusion:The RDW value of OSAHS patients was significantly increased, and it showed a positive correlation with AHI.It was suggested that the elevated level of RDW may be an indicator of the severity of OSAHS.AHI showed a correlation with nocturnal oxygen saturation and some sleep parameters. It was suggested that oxygen saturation and nocturnal sleep pause time have certain clinical value in the assessment of OSAHS disease.Figure 2,Table 6,and 47 references.
