The Experimental Study Of Bone Remodeling After Maizhuni Was Used To Treat Peri-implantitis In Dogs

Objective: To study the influence of Implant-osseointegration interface remodel ing when maizhuni in the peri-implantitis in order to investigate whether maizhuni is effective or not in treating peri-implantitis.Methods: Successful establishment of Beagle Dogs model of Peri-implantitis,nine beagle dogs were randomly divided into three groups which named Maizhuni groups?Normal saline groups?Amoxcillin ca-psules groups and M-etronidazole groups.Given the same dose of Maizhuni?Normal saline?Amoxcillin capsules and Metronidazole tablets once a day.After one m-onth,observed Implant-osseointegration interface remodeling by monitoring the parameter change of Probing Depth?Peri-implant Sulcular Fluid?New Bone Formation Rate?bone defect(Defect Width?Defect Depth and Bone Level)and tissue biopsies.Results:There Were statistically significant differences in the index of Probing Depth?Peri-implant Sulcular Fluid? Defect Width?Defect Depth?Bone Level co-ntent among three groups(P<0.05),there have no significant difference between the Antibiotic and Maizhuni group in the index of Probing Depth?Peri-implant Sul-cular Fluid?Defect Width?Defect Depth?Bone Level and New Bone Formation Rate.The tissue biopsies of Maizhuni group showed that there have a certain amount of osteoblasts around implant,some new bone cells and bone trabeculae were observed in bone marrow area.Conclusion: The treatment of peridental periodontiti-s can achieve the same therapeutic effect as antibiotics,improve the inflammation of soft tissue around the implantation and promote the formation of new bone,whi ch has a positive effect on the bone remodeling around the implantation.Clinically,it can be used as a drug similar to antibiotics in the treatment of peri-implantation inflammation.
