Objective:To study the clinical application and significance of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)and related laboratory indexes in serological diagnosis of pemphigus and bullous pemphigoid, and to provide evidence for the diagnosis and treatment of the disease. Methods:The medical records of pemphigus and bullous pemphigoid patients hospitalized in the first affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from April 2014 to September 2018 were collected. The pathological sections of some patients with pemphigus vulgaris and bullous pemphigoid were reviewed to record the acantholysis site and the titer of the corresponding antibodies were counted and the correlation was analyzed. Results:In pemphigus patients, the positive rate of anti-Dsg1 antibody was significantly different according to the degree of skin involvement(P < 0.05).There was significant difference in the positive rate of anti-Dsg3 antibody in pemphigus patients according to the degree of mucosal involvement(P < 0.05).In patients with bullous pemphigoid, the percentage of eosinophils increased according to the degree of mucosal involvement was statistically different(P < 0.05).The titers of anti-Dsg1,3 antibody in cases with typical pathologic manifestations of pemphigus patients and with those of atypical pathologic manifestations had no significant difference(P > 0.05).The titers of anti-BP180,230 antibody in cases with typical pathologic manifestations of bullous pemphigoid and with those of atypical pathologic manifestations had no significant difference(P > 0.05).Conclusion:The detection of anti-Dsg1,Dsg3 antibody and anti-BP180,BP230 antibody by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(Elisa)can be used to diagnose pemphigus and bullous pemphigoid respectively. It can be concluded that anti-Dsg1 antibody in pemphigus patients related toskin involvement, while the anti-Dsg3 antibody related to mucosal involvement.Increase of eosinophil count may be related to the severity of bullous pemphigoid.
