Objective Schizophrenia is one of the serious mental illnesses,which has damage to the cognitive function of the patient and thus has a serious impact on the social function of the patient.At present,the pathogenesis of schizophrenia remains unclear,and the concept that oxidative stress is involved in the pathogenesis and pathophysiological processes of schizophrenia is recognized by most people.As a superficial factor,hypersensitive C-reactive protein(CRP),a non-specific marker of inflammatory response,has become more and more relevant in schizophrenia patients,especially obese patients.At the same time,studies have shown that the neurocognitive function of obese schizophrenia patients is more obvious than that of normal BMI patients.In this study,patients with schizophrenia in the obese group(BMI>28kg/m^2)and normal group(BMI<24kg/m^2)were used to understand the neurocognitive function of patients with a complete neuropsychological state test(RBANS).State,and compare the correlation between the CRP value of the inflammatory index at admission and the correlation between obesity,CRP and neurocognition in patients with schizophrenia,aiming to provide experimental evidence for neurophysiological studies of the pathogenesis of schizophrenia.To help provide clinical treatment recommendations for the clinical treatment of schizophrenia.Methods Using the Repeatable battery for the assessment of neuropsychological status(RBANS)for 17 hospitalized obese patients(BMI ? 28kg/m^2)with schizophrenia and 30 age,sex,years of education,and residence Mode,family history,age of onset,and PANSS score matched normal weight(BMI <24kg/m^2)in patients with schizophrenia.Neurocognitive function was measured.The measurement contents were attention,speech function,visual breadth,and immediate memory.Five aspects of time-delay memory were collected,and the C-reactive protein index of inflammatory index was collected at the time of admission.SPSS software was used to compare the data to compare the correlation between obesity,CRP and neurocognition in patients with schizophrenia.Result There was no significant difference in CRP levels between obesity and blood inflammatory markers in patients with schizophrenia(p=0.518).There was no direct interaction between body mass index(BMI)and inflammatory index CRP levels(p=0.446);schizophrenia There was a significant difference between the patient's RBANS test score and the attention test group and the normal weight group(p=0.031,p=0.004),but no obvious statistics were found in immediate memory,speech function,visual breadth and time delay memory.Learning differences(p=0.174,p=0.340,p=0.0.060,p=0.432).There was a linear correlation between BMI and neurocognitive function in patients with schizophrenia,and neurocognitive impairment in patients with schizophrenia aggravated with an increase in BMI(p=0.000).There was no direct correlation between neurocognitive function and inflammatory inflammatory factor CRP in patients with schizophrenia(p=0.218).Conclusion Neurocognitive impairment in the schizophrenia obese group was more pronounced than in the normal weight group,and may be more pronounced with attentional impairment.There was no significant difference in the level of CRP between the schizophrenia obese group and the normal weight group,suggesting that there was no significant correlation between obesity and inflammatory index CRP levels in patients with schizophrenia.The increase of CRP in the blood of patients with schizophrenia is not significantly related to the damage of neurocognitive function.The CRP value of inflammation index in blood cannot be used as a direct indicator to predict the degree of neurocognitive impairment in patients.
