| Chronic disease is a chronic disease with slow onset,long duration and many factors.Teachers’ industry is a high pressure industry.The pressure and tension of persistent work will not only seriously affect the mental health of teachers,but also cause serious harm to the health of the body in the long run.As a special group of teachers,high school teachers are faced with great pressure of higher learning on the one hand.Their health is directly related to the quality and level of teaching,which has a more profound impact on the future of the children.More importantly,the study shows that high school teachers are facing greater psychological pressure and less health time than other teachers,which are more susceptible to a variety of chronic diseases.The study aimed at a comprehensive understanding of the main chronic diseases epidemic status of the population and its distribution characteristics by investigating the status and risk factors of chronic diseases among high school teachers.At the same time,through analyzing the related risk factors to provide the scientific basis for establishing the prevention and control strategies.The study population in this survey was all high school teachers in the main districts of Zunyi city,Guizhou Province.Research object and exclusion criteria were made.The investigation population was determined by the stratified cluster sampling.Questionnaire survey,physical measurement and biochemical examination were carried out.The whole quality control was implemented.The unified database was used for collecting data,Furthermore,the descriptive analysis,chi-square test and logistics regression were used for the statistical analysis.A total of 1,553 questionnaires were received in this study,of which 1,488 were the effective questionnaires,the effective rate was 95.8%.There were 839 persons in the key high schools and 649 persons in the senior high schools.Female teachers are more than male teachers.Statistics of each age group,35-44 age group had a total of 537 people,accounting for 36.1% of the total.The average age of all subjects was(40.1+4.9).Nation was given priority to with the Han nationality.Education was given priority to with bachelor degree.The research object family population were concentrated in 3~5 people.The majority of the family per capita income was 3000-4000 Yuan.The average career life of was(12.1±5.9),of which 11~15 years had 429 people.Behavior way of life,a total of 205 people were smoking,the total smoking rate was 13.78%,of which the ordinary high school showed men more than women in smoking rates(P<0.05).A total of 187 people were drinking,the total drinking rate was 12.57%,the rate of men drinking more than women,what’s more,one of the highest rate of alcohol was 35 to 44 years old group,which was 12.86%;the lowest was 25 to 34 years old group which was 9.36%.A total of 304 people had eating disorders,accounting 20.43% of the total,of which 310 people did not eat breakfast or rarely eat breakfast,which accounting for 20.83% of all people surveyed.Dairy and dairy food intake had a total of 306 people.Lack of training had 736 people,accounting for 49.46% of the total number of investigation,which showed men more than women in the senior high school,while women more than men in average high school.The number of daily sleep were 289 people,accounting for 19.42% of all people,which showed people in the senior high school more than people in the ordinary high school.A total of 282 people were overweight,the overweight rate was 18.95%,with the increase of age,obesity rates of was increased,the overall comparison showed statistically significant(P < 0.01).A total of 714 people had chronic diseases,and the prevalence of chronic diseases was 47.98%.The prevalence of chronic diseases increased with age.Higher prevalence of chronic diseases in the first eight among high school teachers were the hypertension,chronic ulcer/gastritis,arthritis,intervertebral disc disease,cholecystitis,gall-stone,ischemic heart disease,diabetes,chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.The logistic regression analysis found that age,family per capita income,drinking,lack of sleep,physical activity,overweight or obesity,eating disorders,none breakfast,eggs,and soy products and salt and hypertension were positively correlated with the hypertension.Age,gender,family per capita income,smoking,lack of sleep,lack of exercise,overweight or obesity,eating disorders,none breakfast were positively correlated with the diabetes.The prevalence of chronic diseases among high school teachers was 47.98%,although lower than the general population,the prevalence rate was still very high.It was difficult for prevention and control.The prevalence of arthritis and intervertebral disc disease among high school teachers was higher compared with that of the general adult population.The prevalence rate of hypertension was the highest in the different disease statistics,Logistics regression analysis showed that age,family per capita income,drinking,lack of sleep,physical activity,overweight or obesity,eating disorders,none breakfast,eggs,and soy products and excessive salt intake were the risk factors for hypertension.In addition,age,gender,family income per month,smoking,lack of sleep,lack of exercise,overweight or obesity,irregular diet,and skipping breakfast were the risk factors for diabetes.In short,the occurrence of chronic disease were associated with a variety of factors,especially the bad behavior way of life,the result of this study was to further guide the high school teachers’ intervention on chronic disease prevention and control. |
