Objectives:To evaluate the radiation protective effect,maneuverability and comfortableness of a new suspension type of radiation protective clothing.Materials and Methods:Collection shelf was used as surgeon standing in the first surgeon position.Using personal dosimeters,detecting head,chest,abdomen,lower limbs,various parts of the left hand under the protection of 0-1.25mm lead equivalent based on other conditions remain except voltage.The radiation dose rate(?Sv/h)at the head,chest,abdomen,lower limbs and feet of both first and second operators when wore suspension type of radiation protective clothing and wore ordinary lead clothing were separately determined.Fifteen interventional radiologists participated in the simulated surgery,wearing ordinary lead clothing and suspension type of radiation protective clothing in turn,and independently gave scores for the maneuverability and comfortableness of radiation protective clothing.Results:1.There was an negative relation between abdominal protection equivalent and entrance dose rate(head r =-0.627,chest r =-0.651,abdomen r =-0.687,ankle r =-0.665,left hand r =-0.811,p<0.01)and positive relation between abdominal protection equivalent and Shielding rate(head r = 0.632,chest r = 0.674,abdomen r =0.716,ankle r = 0.660,left hand r = 0.819,p<0.01).As Voltage increased,shielding rate of protective equipment decreased and protective effect became weak.2.Under the same voltage,there is different shielding rate in various parts of body which were under the same protective equipment equivalent.When the voltage is 100 KV,the head,chest,ankle achieve full protection,the previous-protection is 1.75 mm Pb and the after-protection is 1.0 mm Pb;The abdomen achieve full protection,the previous-protection is 2.0 mm Pb and the after-protection is 1.0 mm Pb;The left hand achieve full protection,the previous-protection is 2.25 mm Pb and the after-protection is 1.0 mm Pb.3.Compared with the ordinary lead clothing,the suspension type of radiation protective clothing significantly reduced the radiation dose rate at the chest,abdomen,lower limbs of both first and second operators(t=135.5-1 688.9,P<0.01),meanwhile,it effectively protected the head and feet from high radiation dose injury.4?No statistically significant difference in maneuverability score between the suspension type of radiation protective clothing and the ordinary lead clothing(Z=-1.826,p=0.103),although the maneuverability score of the suspension type of radiation protective clothing was lower than that of the ordinary lead clothing.The comfortableness score of the suspension type of radiation protective clothing was remarkably higher than that of the ordinary lead clothing(Z=-3.482,p<0.0001)Conclusion:Choosing 2.0mm/1.0 mmPb(anterior/posterior)X-ray protective ability is better.Compared with the ordinary lead clothing,the novel suspension radiation protective clothing has excellent overall radiation protective property and comfortableness,besides,the wearing of the novel suspension radiation protective clothing will not affect the operative manipulation.
