Objective:Nowadays,the transformation of medicine model has infused a new life into the psychosomatic research.However,there are still many disagreements on the definition and disciplinary attribute of psychosomatic medicine because of deficient research.From the perspective of integrative medicine as well as the theoretical basis of macro ecological medicine model,this article is aimed at building a comprehensive theoretical system for psychosomatic medicine so as to clarify its definition,central idea,research objects and others related.Method:Base on textual psychosomatic medicine materials collected through manual consultation,computer based retrieval and reference information,this article has analyzed and summarized these materials accordingly.Comparing different ways of thinking and techniques from multiple disciplines,this article has found their individual preferences regarding health research and concluded the tendency of psychosomatic medicine development and the theoretical system construction in accordance with the development.Through analysis,synthesis,comparison and many other approaches,this article has researched on different psychosomatic medicine theories from Traditional Chinese Medicine,western medicine and psychology and formed its own theoretical basis with innovation.Moreover,it summarized the understanding of health from different disciplines by means of theoretical analysis.Through multi-disciplinary research,this article explored the factors of having disease and refined the central idea of psychosomatic medicine,which helped to analyze the following principle of integrated treatment of psychosomatic medicine and establish the method of basic integrated treatment and life management.Result:1.Psychosomatic medicine is based on macro ecological medicine model that consisted of five harmonious levels of organism,mind and body(physical andspiritual),interpersonal relationship,society and the nature environment.2.The best health is having the unity of heaven and man as well as the mind and body,which is keeping an inner balance without conflict and a harmonious relationship with surroundings.3.The cause of a disease should be developed from a system instead of any individual factor.4.The object of psychosomatic medicine is every phenomenon related to human life.5.The integrative system of psychosomatic medicine takes “to cure disease as well as find its fundamental source” as its principle because the fundamental treatment of human disease should start from its culture.6.The integrative system of psychosomatic medicine adopts the method,especially the techniques of diagnosis and treatment system by combing multiple disciplines.7.The central idea of psychosomatic medicine is to enable and protect the self-healing system,which needs to be proceeded through the whole journey including prevention,treatment,rehabilitation,wellness maintenance and longevity.8.The purpose of psychosomatic medicine is to improve the awareness of the patient for his mind and body through promoting concepts,demonstrating techniques and self-practice so that we can make ourselves become our own doctors.Conclusion:In the way of integrative medical thinking,this article has associated different understandings and analysis of health and the cause of disease by integrating techniques from multidiscipline and adhering to the holistic view of Huang Di Nei Jing.As its conclusion,this article believes that psychosomatic medicine is a comprehensive treatment system based on macro ecological medicine model to enable and maintain the self-healing system as its central idea,to regard every phenomenon related to human life as its object so that we can achieve to make ourselves become our own doctors.
