Objective:The pupose of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to evaluate the survival rate of the implants associated with immediate and delayed implant placement. Methods:The systematic search was directed by two researchers independently in the databases Pub Med?Cochrane Library?Embase?CNKI and Wan Fang data using the determined Chinese and English retrieval formula to search relevant literature of randominzed controlled trials these articles were published until November2017.Importing the eligible literatures which were selected by inclusion and exclusion criteria.Taking up meta-analysis using Rev Man 5.3 software after the data extraction and quality evaluation of included trials. Results:The searches identified 25 eligible studies.A total of 1962 implants was installed in a total of 1926 patients with a minimum of 12 months of follow-up.Test group:immediate implant;control group:delayed implant. The implant survival rate of test group wassignificantly lower than delayed implant(p=0.01).Conclusion:The survival rates of delayed implants was significantly higher than immediately implants. There is significantly difference between the groups. For the marginal bone loss and implant stability quotients were no significant difference between the two groups. But for immediate implant,it reduce a surgery and the treatment cycle,so patients can accept easily.
