Sudden cardiac death,commonly known as cardiac arrest,is one of the most important diseases that is harmful to human health.The probability of sudden cardiac arrest is very random,and 70% of cardiac arrest occurs outside the hospital.The key to this kind of phenomenon is Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation(CPR).The patients with cardiac arrest are pressed to meet specific depth and frequency,and combined with artificial respiration so that the patients can recover the normal respiratory rhythm and the blood supply.Because the occurrence of cardiac arrest is unpredictable,staff of professional medical can not be rushed to the scene for first aid.The first aid for the patients is mainly by witnesses on the scene.However,most of the witnesses are not medical majors and no chest compression training experience.During cardiopulmonary resuscitation,there will be some problems such as deep pressure,insufficient pressing frequency,insufficient pressure,insufficient springback and pressing action.Even for professional medical staff,this phenomenon often occurs.Therefore,there is an urgent need for a monitoring device that can feed back the important indicators for example depth,frequency,resilience and perpendicularity,and then provides the operator with an evaluation of operating quality feedback.This paper focuses on designing a compact,portable with Bluetooth communication system for cardiopulmonary resuscitation quality assessment.All the indexes such as depth,frequency,rebound can be measured and calculated and transmit through mobile's terminal Bluetooth,then assessment the operation quality in APP written for testing CPR.Finally combined with the regulations of the American Heart Association on cardiopulmonary resuscitation,provide operator with feedback.In this paper,referenced the design ideas of the domestic and foreign products,abandoned traditional displacement sensors such as Holzer sensor and electronic ruler.The six axis acceleration sensor is used to calculate the chest compress depth through the acceleration displacement double integral method,and the press frequency isobtained by feature extraction according to the compress depth waveform.The analysis of press depth and press frequency were carried out to evaluate the effective press,ineffective press,normal rebound and press time ratio,then provide the operator with the evaluation of operation quality.The calculated data are transmitted to the mobile terminal through Bluetooth.Operators can directly analyze and understand the whole operation process through mobile phones,help operators improve their operation quality and accumulate standardized cardiopulmonary resuscitation experience.
