Objective: Nowadays, music therapy is gradually known, but due to many reasons, music therapy is not easy to develop. After conducting music therapy education, many patients still question the effect of music therapy, and do not enter the group of music therapy. In this study,we retrospectively analyzed the related factors and survival analysis of music therapy in order to provide a reference for the appropriate music therapy education.Method:1 A total of 258 patients with malignant tumor diagnosed by pathology were collected from March 2014 to January 2016 at the fourth hospital of Hebei Medical University. The patients were divided into two groups according to whether they were willing to join the music therapy group, the patients who were unwilling to join the group were the control group, and the patients who were willing to join the group were the intervention group.2 A questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate the influence of age and sex on the music therapy in the two groups. The effect of music therapy on PFS was analyzed by telephone follow-up.SPSS22.0 software was used for statistical analysis, and frequency was used to describe general information of patients.Univariate analysis was used to analyze the relationship between each factor and music therapy, and Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the age, education level, musical interest and knowledge of the disease.Kaplan-Meier method was used to draw the survival curve and Log-Rank test was used to analyze the difference of PFS between the control group and the intervention group(P< 0.05).Result:1.Influential factors of music therapy in patients with malignant tumorA total of 258 patients were included in the questionnaire, and 240 ofthem completed the questionnaire effectively. The results showed that age, education level, musical interest and the condition of the patients had significant influence on whether the patients were included in the music therapy group(P< 0.05).Sex,occupation,disease type, disease stage and DT score had no significant influence on music therapy(P> 0.05).Age and musical hobby were the independent influencing factors of music therapy(P=0.025,P=0.000).2.Effect of music therapy on PFS in patients with malignant tumorA total of 240 patients with malignant tumor were enrolled in this study. The median PFS of lung cancer patients was 8 months, and the median PFS of intervention group was 8 months(P=0.760).The median PFS of breast cancer patients was 9 months, and the median PFS of intervention group was 8months(P=0.726).The median PFS was 8 months in the control group and 10 months in the intervention group(P=0.684).The median PFS was 8 months in the control group and 8 months in the intervention group(P=0.310).Conclusion:1.Age,education,musical interest, and the condition of the patients have a significant impact on whether to join the music therapy.2.Age and musical interest were independent factors of music therapy.3.The PFS of patients with malignant tumor who were willing to join music therapy tended to prolong, but there was no statistical significance.
