| Objective:To measure the size of spleen,length,thickness,diameter and parameters on warp in 100 normal people using 320 slice CT,and the parameters of the men and women in all age groups were compared,and further proves the accuracy of textbooks commonly used size line,to evaluate the accuracy of evaluating commonly used spleen volume methods.Take the 100 cases of the all people to measure the length in three level,and through the correlation research to find out the more simple and accurate method in predicting the spleen volume diameter.Methods:100 cases of normal spleen in abdominal multislice spiral CT scan were collected and reconstructed.The upper and lower diameters,length,thickness,width,volume,cross-sectional area,spleen index and rib elements of spleen were measured by three-dimensional reconstruction and post-processing software.Statistics were used to compare and deal the measured values of the spleen in men and women and in all ages.Correlation of spleen volume and three levels of and length,the warp rib unit,cross-sectional area,spleen index,cross-sectional area diameter use pearson regression,correlation analysis,regression equation was obtained.Results:The frist,Measured parameter statistical results of 100 cases(The volume is in cm~3 unit,the remainder is the basic unit of mm,and the rib unit is a unit):the mean volume of normal spleens was 197.96±92.03,the mean pachydiameter of spleen is 29.55±5.12;the mean length of spleen is 97.91±16.11;the mean width of spleen is90.62±18.93;the mean index of spleen is 276158.78±126183.68,the mean cross-sectional area of spleen is:3388.58±986.12,the mean rib unit of spleen is 4.8±1.3;95%reference values of the length and thickness diameter are close to the reference value of common clinical value.Between male and female,there were significant differences in parameters including spleen volume,long diameter,thickness diameter,upper and lower diameter,cross-sectional area and spleen index.(P<0.05)measured values of male were significantly larger than females.There is no obvious difference in the ribbed unit.Between the age of 20-40,41-60 years old,more than 60three age groups,the length,width,index(p<0.05)of spleen were significantly different;parameters of thickness,spleen size,cross-sectional area,rib unit was not significant,but with the increase of age,the index has a decreased trend.The second,Correlation analysis of normal splenic volume and length diameter measured by the three-layer length diameter method,common diameter and other parameters and related significant results.respectively.Correlation of The spleen volume and the warp rib unit,cross-sectional area,spleen index,diameters using pearson regression,correlation analysis,Correlation of spleen volume and three level long diameter,length,thickness,upper and lower diameter,cross-sectional area,spleen index has a good correlation,and the cross-sectional area multiplied by upper and lower diameter is under the best correlation,and the correlation between the rib unit and volume is the worst.Correlation of spleen volume the mean length of three layers in the diameter line is best 0.880(0).Correlation of Spleen volume and length is 0.773(0),three levels of length is 0.880 and the upper and lower diameter 0.792(0),of thickness to diameter 0.620(0)and cross-sectional area is0.905(0),spleen index 0.906(0),diameter multiplied by cross-sectional area 0.980(0),rib unit is 0.090(0.375).regression equation of spleen volume and three-level diameter isY=4.5404x-176.82.In the correlation significant test between spleen volume and parameters,there was significant difference between the length in the three level method and other diameter lines Z>1.98.There was no significant difference between the three-level length and cross sectional area or spleen index,Z<1.98.Conclusion:The 320 slice spiral CT can measure the normal splenic volume,and spleen size of female and male has a significant difference;The normal female spleen size is large and the normal male spleen size is small;spleen size,length,diameter and the diameter of upper and lower decreased with age increase.The proposed assessment of spleen size should consider the age and sex.The spleen volume had a good correlation with the three-level length diameter,length diameter,thick diameter,up and down diameter,cross-sectional area and spleen index.The correlation between the spleen volume and the diameter multiplied by cross-sectional area was the best,and the correlation with the rib element was the worst.spleen volume can be estimated accuratly by the three-level length diameter,length,thickness,upper and lower diameter,cross-sectional area,spleen index.the cross-sectional area multiplied by diameter is more accurate;and the analysis of accuracy,showed that the diameter in three level length can more accuratly estimate spleen
