| Volume of Pleural effusion is the vital information that is closely associated with the determination of clinical treatment,the curative effect and prognosis in clinical.Pleural effusion detected by X-ray,ultrasound and CT is discordance to the evidence-based medicine theory,because these methods are hard to define the exactly number of the volume.In our research,First the experimental materials were collected for obtaining the quantitive date.Second CT scanning were preformed to get image data,then Marching Cube algorithm assistant with graphic division repair model was applied for re-constructing the 3-D chest CT images.Finally,the authors measured the volume of the fluid to creating appropriate 3-D model.What’s more,in the whole process,we elaborately explained the important of 3D reconstruction algorithms,and precisely measured the effusion.Our results showed that Marching Cube algorithm using triangle plane approaching contour surface setted up the surface model to obtaining the pleural effusion,and then the volumes were calculated by dissecting method afterward,which was a better method.We also verified the veracity of our methods by quantitive water injection tests.By influence of images accuracy and integrity of the experimental materials,theoretical and actual data appeared some indifferences.However,compared with those traditional methods,we still obtain the significant improvement about getting concise volume number of pleural effusion,which might improve the progress in clinical treatment. |
