Observation On The Clinical Effect Of Gulao Yukang Pills On The Secondary Osteoporosis Of Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective By observing Gulao yukang pills combined with western medicine in the treatment of OP(osteoporosis)secondary to RA(rheumatoid arthritis)on the improvement of clinical symptoms and related indexes of patients,to evaluate the efficacy of Gulao yukang pills on OP secondary to RA,and to provide clinical basis for Gulao yukang pills treatment of OP secondary to RA.Demonstrate the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of related diseases.Methods In this study,60 patients with OP secondary to RA were selected from rheumatic orthopedic outpatient clinic of affiliated hospital of Gansu University of traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2017 to April 2017,according to the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria,and the exclusion criteria.Subjects were randomly assigned to the treatment group and the control group with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with routine therapy(leflunomide+Di qiao calcium+ Calcitriol Soft Capsules),while the treatment group took Gutai Yukang pill on the basis of routine treatment,during which other anti-RA drugs and anti-OP drugs(including:western medicine,traditional Chinese medicine)were discontinued.Both groups were treated for 6 months as a complete course of treatment.Data of clinical symptoms,signs,bone mineral density,laboratory indexes and TCM syndromes were collected before and after treatment and Analysis of data through SPSS22.0 statistical softwar--e,objectivly evaluate the curative effect and security of Gulao yukang pills to treatment OP secondary to RA.Results In the course of the study,there were 2 cases in the control group and 58 cases in the final two groups.(1)comparison of the total curative effect rate between the two groups:After the course of treatment was completed,the total effective rate of the treatment group was90.91%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 71.88%.The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),which showed that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(2)comparison of TCM syndromes integral and TCM syndromes efficacy between the two groups:Before and after treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes in both groups were improved,but the treatment group was superior to the control group(P < 0.05).The curative effect of TCM syndrome was improved before and after treatment in both groups,but the treatment group was superior to the control group(P < 0.05).In the treatment group,the score of TCM symptom and the improvement of TCM curative effect were better than those in the control group.(3)Comparison of Main symptoms and signs,DEXA values,OSTA index,HAQ scores between the two groups:Compared with before treatment,Main symptoms and signs,DEXA values,OSTA index,HAQ scores in the treatment group was improved and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).Compared with before treatment,the Main symptoms and signs,DEXA values,OSTA index,HAQ scores of the control group was improved and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).After treatment,the improvement of Main symptoms and signs,DEXA values,OSTA index,HAQ scores in the treatment group was more obvious than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).The results show that the treatment group is superior to the control group.(4)comparison of laboratory indexes before and after treatment between the two groups:Related indexes of bone metabolism:BGP,blood calcium and phosphorus in both groups were higher than those before treatment,but they were in normal range,and the treatment group was superior to the control group(P < 0.05).Inflammatory response markers:The levels of TNF-?,CRP and ESR in both groups were lower than those before treatment,but the treatment group was superior to the control group(P < 0.05).(5)Safety evaluation:There were no significant adverse events in both groups,and there was no significant difference in safety between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion(1)Gulao yukang pills combined with western medicine in the treatment of RA secondary op,the effect is outstanding.(2)Gulao yukang pills can increase bone density,protect bone,improve health index and improve quality of life in patients with RA secondary op.(3)The efficacy of Gulao yukang pills as a pure Chinese medicine preparation is outstanding and the safety is guaranteed.Clinical application is worth further popularizing.
