Investigation And Analysis On The Present Situation For The Elderly Medication Of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Objective:To understand the current situation and progress of traditional Chinese medicine in the elderly,to study the characteristics and adverse reactions(ADR)of traditional Chinese medicine,to provide references for the clinical safety and effective use of traditional Chinese medicine in elderly patients.Methods:(1)literature analysis: to retrieve the academic literature database,use descriptive statistical analysis method,collect the eligible literature inclusion criteria,and analyze the current situation of traditional Chinese medicine in the elderly.(2)ADR cases analysis: analysis of traditional Chinese old people use Chinese medicine adverse reaction happened in sichuan province/event(ADR/ADE)cases,major indicators: age,gender,nationality,the original disease,disease history,always adverse drug reactions/events,symptoms and so on.(3)the status quo of the research: in sichuan province old people use traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)sampling investigation,the main indicators: demographic information,the situation of the elderly to use traditional Chinese medicine and medication guide,dose,compliance,etc.Results:(1)Literature analysis: a total of 1054 articles were retrieved from 2006 1 to 2017 6 months.The main contents include Chinese medicine policies regulations,and analysis of traditional ADR/ADE analysis and so on.(2)case analysis of Chinese medicine ADR: collected 19,939 cases of adverse events/events in 1927 from November 2012 to December 2016,including 939 cases,with the highest incidence of 61-80 years.2.5% had serious adverse drug reactions.75.29% no previous and family adverse drug reactions/events.Intravenous injection of 63.15% was mainly based on danshen ligustrazine injection and shenmai injection.Logistic regression showed that the factors affecting the skin lesion of the patient were hypertension,coronary heart disease,diabetes,and gender OR value >1,which was a moderate risk factor for skin damage.Gender,age OR >1 is a risk factor for chest tightness.(3)current status survey: collected information on the medication of 360 elderly people in 23 regions of sichuan province,and 80% of them took medicine for a long time.Diabetes mellitus,coronary heart disease and hypertension are the most common diseases in the elderly.The most frequent use of Chinese medicine,decoction,Chinese medicine.Often encountered with drug overdose,repeated medication.Conclusion:(1)literature analysis: the main problems of unreasonable use of traditional Chinese medicine are multiple medicines and poor compliance;(2)analysis of the ADR/ADE case of traditional Chinese medicine: there are no allergic history,family history,adverse reaction history,etc.In most cases of adverse reactions of traditional Chinese medicine,the Chinese medicine injection is the highest dosage form of ADR/ADE;(3)analysis of the status quo of the research: there are many types of long-term drug use,and there are more adverse reactions of drugs.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the rational use of traditional Chinese medicine in the elderly population to promote social attention.
