Objective: To study the “ Cai hu tiao zhi tang”used for type 2 diabetes mellitus with dyslipidemia in islet beta cell function, insulin resistance index, blood lipid, blood sugar level, body mass index and clinical symptoms, which was based Shaoyang-Yangming.And explore the possible mechanism of Syndrome differentiation of Shaoyang-Yangming.Methods: 66 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with abnormal blood lipids were randomly divided into treatment group and control group by randomized control method. In addition to the basic treatment(health education, diet control, exercise),the control shall be oral metformin hydrochloride(check),and simvastatin tablets(yi xin).On the basis of the control group, the treatment group will be use " Cai hu tiao zhi tang".Observe after 12 weeks, recording the safety indexes,Chinese medicine symptom score,BMI,blood pressure, blood lipid, blood glucose, islet beta cell function, insulin resistance index changes, before and after treatment in both groups.SPSS21.0 software will be using for statistical analysis.Results:(1)The efficacy evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine: The two groups after treatment of traditional Chinese medicine symptom integral were decreased, the treatment group total score decreased significantly, the total effective rate is about96.78%,is better than 75.00% in the control group.Efficacy of the two groups of comparison, the difference was significance.(P < 0.01).(2)Glycolipid index: The indexes of Hb A1 c,FPG,P2 h PG,TG,TC and LDL-C were significantly decreased, and HDL-C level increased, after treatment in both groups. The differences were significant statistical significance.(P<0.01).There was a difference between the two groups after treatment in Hb A1 c,FPG,P2 h PG,TG,LDL-C(P<0.05),the differences were significance in TC?HDL-C(P<0.01).(3)The islet beta cell function and insulin resistance index:After treatment, the two groups islet beta cell function(HOMA-beta)were rised,The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),efficacy of the two groups of comparison, the difference was Significant statistical(P <0.05);Insulin resistance index of the two groups after treatment(HOMA IR)were decreased, there was a difference between the two groups after treatment(P < 0.05),the difference between the two way had statistical significance(P < 0.05).(4)BMI changes: the two groups showed a significant decrease in BMI after treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).There was statistically significance between the two groups(P<0.01).(5)Blood pressure changes: there was significant difference after treatment of the two groups(P < 0.05),and the difference was not statistically significant between the two groups(P > 0.05).(6)Security indicators: Before and after the treatment, the two groups were all in the normal range in blood routine examination, stool routine examination, urine routine examination, and liver and kidney function, electrolyte, electrocardiogram(ecg),the whole research process has no adverse reactions and adverse events.Research conclusions: The “ Cai hu tiao zhi tang”used for type 2 diabetes mellitus with dyslipidemia, which based on shaoyang-Yangming from professor Yue rensong, has a certain role in improving the patient's symptoms and the function of islet, lowering blood glucose and blood lipid, control weight, reducing insulin resistance and so on.Especially in improving the patients' symptoms, lowering blood glucose and blood lipid, control weight, has obviously effect. It has been proved that syndrome differentiation and treatment by Shaoyang-Yangming,has obvious advantages and worthy of clinical research in comparison with the treatment of pure western medicine.
