Objective:To explore the effects of Skinner's strengthening theory applied to health education. To explore the effect of strengthening health education on children's guardian for Mycoplasma pneumonia.Which provides the basis for the health education intervention of the families of preschool children with Mycoplasma pneumonia.Methods1.select 40 hospitalized children's guardian who received anti Mycoplasma treatment in the Armed Police Children's Hospital from October 2016 to November 2016 as the control group. In December 2016 to January 2017,40 cases of family members as the experimental group.2.The measures of the interventions were the same in the two groups. The control group received regular health education. The experimental group studied the frequency, intensity, method, location, and time of their interventions beside the regular health education.Twinning t-test and independent sample t-test were performed on two groups of subjects before and after the intervention. To evaluate the effects of intensive health education on preschool children with Mycoplasma pneumonia, family knowledge of the disease, satisfaction with care services, family anxiety points and perceived social support.Results1.After the intervention,it was significantly lower in the experimental group than in the control group for the average hospital day, which was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.After the intervention, for the state anxiety score of the family members,it was lower in the two groups(P<0.05),and for the state anxiety value of the guardian,it was significantly lower in the experimental group than in the control group, which was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.After the intervention, for the family satisfaction of the children,it was significantly higher in the experimental group than in the control group, which was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.After the intervention, for the knowledge of Mycoplasma pneumonia,it was improved in the two groups(P<0.05).5.After the intervention, for the social support of the families,it was improved in the two groups(P<0.05),it was significantly higher in the experimental group than in the control group, which was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions Based on Skinner's reinforcement theory, which can shorten the average hospital days of children with Mycoplasma pneumonia and increase the satisfaction of children's families with care services. On the other hand,it can improve the overall understanding of Mycoplasma pneumonia disease for guardian,Reduce the anxiety level of the guardian in the emergency state and increase the social support level of the guardian.Strengthening health education, which it is worth promoting and developing in clinical practice.
