Colorectal cancer is one of the most common malignancies in clinical practice. Its incidence and mortality rate increase year by year.Especially with the change of living standards and methods in China, the incidence rate of urban population has reached the second place, and the age of onset is also significantly younger.Although there are many diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for colorectal cancer, surgical treatment is still the most effective method.Although the surgical technique has matured and the corresponding auxiliary devices have made some progress, all colorectal surgeons still have to face the problem of postoperative anastomotic leakage.Anastomotic fistula remains the most serious and common complication after colorectal surgery. It will increase the patient's medical expenses and length of hospital stay.Anastomotic leakage will corrode the surrounding tissues and cause infection, hemorrhage, vaginal fistula, and delayed patients.Postoperative chemotherapy increases postoperative recurrence and mortality. There are many high-risk factors of anastomotic leakage, basically covering most patients, actively correcting high-risk factors, improving the nutritional status of patients, increasing the patient's surgical tolerance, correcting common aged diseases, improving preoperative preparation, and ensuring intraoperative anastomosis The appropriate tension and sufficient blood supply, adequate drainage of the abdominal fluid, reduce the surrounding inflammatory response, provide a good environment for the healing of the anastomosis;after the active control of infection, smooth drainage, reasonable adjustment of drainage tube placement time.Through the abdominal signs and laboratory infection indicators, combined with the necessary auxiliary examination, once anastomotic leakage occurs, effective intervention should be taken to control complications and mortality. The ultimate goal of predicting or early detecting anastomotic leakage is to start treatment in time to improve the patient's outcome. The surgeon must take into account many different aspects, namely the patient's age, health status and current clinical condition, the degree of dehiscence, the time between surgery and reoperation, the location of the anastomosis, and the site of the stoma. These variables lead to personalized treatment strategies and different results.By actively discovering and correcting relevant risk factors during perioperative period of patients, timely and effective diagnosis and effective treatment of anastomotic leakage, and reducing the occurrence and development of anastomotic leakage,it is of great significance for perioperative safety, rapid patient rehabilitation and quality of life.
