Measurement Of Thyroid CT In 465 Normal Adults In Chengde Area And Its Correlation With Demographic Characteristics

Objective:To analyze the correlation between CT values and demographic characteristics of normal adults,and to establish a reliable reference range of CT values.Methods:The CT 3D reconstruction of the cervical spine,CT scan of the cervical disc and neck CT scan in our hospital from January 1,2017 to June 30,2017 were analyzed retrospectively,Screening by strict inclusion and exclusion criteria,cross sectional images of thyroid CT in 465 normal adults were obtained.The CT values of the left and right thyroid lobes of each patient were measured according to the established method(see Figure 1).There were 263 males and 202 females,aged 18 to 85 years,with an average age of 49.44 years,the 465 people were divided into less than 35 age group(75 persons),35-50 age group(138 persons)and over 50 age group(252 persons),and were divided into two groups of towns and villages according to their residence,270 cases in town group and 195 cases in village group.The data of 465 patients in the group were analyzed by statistical methods.results:1.the CT value of thyroid in normal adults area was(108.11±13.90)HU.2.the thyroid CT values in normal adults were not significantly different between left and right leaves.3.the thyroid CT values in normal adults were not significantly different between different age groups.4.the thyroid CT values in normal adults were not significantly different between different sexes.5.the thyroid CT value(114.06±12.83)HU of the town residents was higher than that of the village group(99.87±10.78)HU,the difference was significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Comparative analysis of CT values of 930 normal adult thyroid lobes(465 left leaves and 465 right leaves)obtained from normal adults,the range of thyroid CT value in normal adults area was investigated,and the correlation between CT value and left and right lobe,sex,age group and residence area were summarized.That is,the thyroid CT value of normal people in Chengde has no significant correlation with leaf sex,sex and age,and has significant correlation with town and village residential area.The CT value of town residents' thyroid gland is higher than that of village residents.Reference indicators can be provided for early screening of high-risk groups of thyroid diseases,Thyroid disease patients can be timely diagnosed and differential diagnosed,and the prevention,diagnosis and treatment level of thyroid diseases can be improved.
