Comparsion And Evaluation Changes Of Facial Soft Tissue With The Structure Light Scanning Technique Before And After The Orthognathic Surgery Of Laterognathism Patients

Objective : By comparing and analyzing the changes in the three-dimensional direction of the lower 1/3 of facial soft tissue before and after the orthognathic surgery of laterognathism patients,the aim was to evaluate the therapeutic effect objectively and to provide reference for clinical treatment.Methods : 16 laterognathism patients who received orthodontic and orthognathic combined treatment in the Stomatology Hospital,China Medical University from January 2017 to April 2017 were collected,including 6 male patients and 10 female patients.In this study,there were 15 cases of bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy(SSRO),1 case of unilateral SSRO and mandibular reconstruction.The images were obtained from the facial soft tissue of the patient by using the structure light scanning technique before and 6 months after surgery,respectively.In the same condition,the same researchers marked the facial soft tissue markers in the continuous time and measured the correlation values of the line spacing,angle and asymmetry of the markers.The statistical software SPSS18.0 was used to analyze and draw conclusions.Results:The change in the facial lower 1/3 proportion significantly,mainly for the cheilion width reduced by 46.25 mm to 44.26 mm,mandibular width increased from119.08 mm to 121.16 mm,the soft tissue pogonion distance to the median sagittal plane reduced from 6.57 mm to 1.5 mm,the upper lip height increased from 21.89 mm to 23.61 mm,the lower lip and chin height reduced from 52.62 mm to 49.85 mm,the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05),while there were no significant difference in the lower lip height and the facial lower 1/3 height(P>0.05).Excepting for the lower lip projection angle and the nasolabial angle,all the other angles had significant changes.At the same time,the asymmetry of facial soft tissue was improved.Conclusion : 1.The facial soft tissue profile was significantly improved after orthodontic and orthodontic combined treatment of laterognathism patients.2.The facial soft tissue was scanned and measured by using the structured light scanning technology,reacted from the three dimensional direction.The result is more real,reliable and reasible.
