Application Of The Cuff Rectal Drainage Tube In Resection Of Low Rectal Cancer

Objective:The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the cuff rectal drainage tube after low rectal anterior resection on patients'rehabilitation and control of postoperative complications.Methods:The clinical data of 100 patients with rectal cancer undergoing low rectal resection from January 2015 to December 2017 in Shengjing Hospital affiliated to China Medical University were retrospectively analyzed.According to whether or not to place the cuff rectal drainage tube through anus during operation,the experimental group is divided into two groups.The incidence of anastomotic leakage,the healing time of anastomotic leakage,the time of first exhaust after operation,the days of hospitalization,the recovery of anal function and the medical expenses were observed and compared statistically.Results:(1)Experimental group 3.8%incidence of anastomotic leakage(2/52)for lower than the control group 18.8%(9/48)(?~2=5.663,P=0.017<0.05).There was significant difference between the two groups by statistical analysis.(2)Healing time of anastomotic leakage in experimental group(15.5±0.71)d early in the control group(22.0±3.81)d(t=-2.311,P=0.046<0.05).The two groups of data were statistically analyzed,there was a significant difference.(3)The first time of exhaust after operation in experimental group(4.42±1.05)d early in the control group(5.75±1.25)d(t=-5.763,P<0.05).The two groups of data were statistically analyzed,there was a significant difference.(4)Days of hospitalization after operation in the experimental group(10.88±2.27)d in the control group(14.5±7.57)d(t=-3.29,P=0.001<0.05).The two groups of data were statistically analyzed,there was a significant difference.(5)The incidence of one month postoperatively in the experimental group,The incidence of defecation increased was 5.8%(3/52)for lower than the control group25%(12/48)(?~2=7.240,P=0.07<0.05).The incidence of defecating unfinished feeling was 9.6%(5/52)lower than 27.1%of the control group(13/48)(?~2=5.160,P=0.023<0.05).The two groups of data were statistically analyzed,there was a significant difference.(6)The experimental group of medical expenses(6.55±0.78)ten thousand yuan is lower than the control group for(7.30±1.88)ten thousand yuan(t=-2.644,P=0.01<0.05).The two groups of data were statistically analyzed,there was a significant difference.Conclusion:As a rectum drainage tube,the cuff rectal drainage tube reduced the incidence of anastomotic leakage,the healing time of anastomotic leakage,the first time of exhaust after operation and the hospitalization time of the patient after low anterior resection of rectum.At the same time,it also promotes the recovery of anal function and saves the medical expenses of patients.
