Objection:The clinicopathological features and prognosis of young women with breast cancer younger than 35 years old in Shenzhen area were obtained by comparing young breast cancer with that of middle and old age breast cancer.Material and Methods:The clinical data of 1349 cases of breast cancer was diagnosed and treated in the first affiliated hospital of shenzhen university from December 2009 to January 2017 were collected, including 129 cases(9.56%)of breast cancer patients younger than 35 years old. There were 97 operable patients as experimental group whose case histories were relatively integrated, including pathological report, immunohistochemical report and systemic therapy records.Ninety-seven cases of breast caneer patients under the same conditions were selected as the control group.Retrospective analysis was done to compare the youth group with the control group in the pathologi cal type, tumor size, axillary lymph node metastasis,TNM classification, molecular classification(ER,PR,its ehrs-2,Ki-67),good location, operation method, etc. All statistical analyses were carried out by using SPSS,version 21.0.Data analysis was conducted by chi-square test, and P<0.05 was considered statistically significant differ ence.Result:The age distribution of the young group was 22-34 years, the median was 31 years old,the age distribution of the old group was 35-85 years old and the median was 41 years old.The pathological type of young breast cancer group was mainly infiltrating ductal carcinoma, accounting for 79/97(81.4%)of the group. The elderly grou p was also dominated by invasive ductal carcinoma, accounting for 82/97(84.5%)of the group. In the clinical stage of TNM,both young and old groups were mainly I and II.In terms of the size of the mass, the young group was mainly T2 and the older group was mainly T1.There was no significant difference between the young group and the older group about T2(x 2=0.215,P ? 0.05).The positive rate of lymph node metastasis in young and old groups was(x 2=9.574,P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.Luminal B is the main component of the young and old groups. The positive expression rate of ER was 52.6%in the experimental group and 68.0%in the control group, there was a statistical difference between the two groups(x 2=7.572,P<0.05).The positive expression rate of PR was 57.7%in the experimental group and 52.6%in the control group, there was no statistical difference between the two groups(x 2=0.572,P?0.05).The positive expression rate of c-erbb-2 protein in the experimental group was 21.6%,and the positive expression rate of c-erbb-2 protein in the control group was 13.4%,and there was a statistical difference between the two groups(x2=6.552,P<0.V5).The positive expression rate of ki-67 in the experiment al group was 73.0%,and the positive expression rate of ki-67 in the control group was 67.0%,and there was no statistical difference between the two groups(x2=0.372,P?0.05).The young breast cancer group was diagnosed with the left breast at 55.7%(55/97),and the elderly breast cancer group was better than the left breast with 51.5%(50/97).The surgical methods of both young and old groups were mainly based on improved radical mastectomy, but the contrast between the experimental group and the control group was statistically significant(37.1%/16.5%,x 2=12.520,P<0.05).Conclusions:Compared with older breast cancer, young women with breast cancer ha ve the following characteristics:Invasive ductal carcinoma was the main pathological type;TNM stage is mostly middle and late stage; The positive rate of lymph node me tastasis was higher and the risk of recurrence was high; The molecular typing was mainly LB;The incidence of malignant tumors in the left breast was higher than that in the right breast;Although the surgical method is mainly based on improved radical treatment, the demand for breast augmentation surgery is becoming more and more intense. In summary, young breast cancer patients tend to be in the middle and late stages of their discovery, with rapid progress and early metastasis.
