Effect Of Sling Exercise Therapy On Balance Function For Stroke Patients

ObjectiveBy using dynamic balance analyzer,surface electromyography(sEMG),balance function and Fugl-Meyer assessmentas the evaluation index,to observe the clinical curative effect of application of sling exercise therapy(SET)on balance function in for the stroke patients,and to compare the clinical curative effect of application of sling exercise therapy(SET)and rehabilitation treatmenton balance function for stroke patients,which would provide the basis for seeking an effective rehabilitation interventions.MethodThis study used convenience sampling method to select the object.Selecting 124 patients with stroke in the first affiliated hospital of shenzhen university(Shenzhen,China)from June 2014 to June 2015.According to the principle of randomization,the patients were randomly divided into control group(62 cases)and observation group(62 cases).All patients were given the routine symptomatic treatment.The control group was given rehabilitation treatment,and the observation group was given Sling Exercise Therapy.Gait analyzer,surface EMG machine and all kinds of scales of the two groups of patients with trunk control muscle sEMG,balance function,motor function,daily life ability and the quality of life and were used before and after treatment.All data input SPSS17.0,finally concluded.ResultThere was a significantimprovement(P<0.01)of balance function in the treatment group after training,but also the control group.There was significant difference(P<0.05)of balance function,motor function activities of daily living,quality of life,and the treatment group was better than the control group.There was significant difference(P<0.05)ofstanding balance of open/closed eyes and trunk control muscle sEMG,and the treatment group was better than the control group.ConclusionUsing SET combined with rehabilitation training and simple rehabilitation training can also improve the balance function,motor function,daily life ability,the quality of lifeand trunk control muscle force of stroke patients,but the former is more effective than the latter.
