| Objective:The effect of invigorating spleen and tonifying kidney granule on myasthenia gravis and the effect of interferon-gamma(IFN-gamma)and interleukin 18(IL-18)in the serum of MG patients were investigated in this study,to explore the immune mechanism of invigorating spleen and tonifying kidney granule in the treatment of myasthenia gravis from cytokine.The purpose is to provide the basis for the expansion of invigorating spleen and tonifying kidney granule in the treatment of myasthenia gravis.Methods:According to the inclusion criteria,60 patients with myasthenia gravis were selected as the subjects.All patients were treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of TCM from January 2017 to January 2018.According to the order of treatment,the patients were grouped by 1:1,30 cases in treatment group and control group.The treatment group was treated with prednisone,bropyridone,and invigorating spleen and tonifying kidney granule,while the control group was treated with prednisone and bropyridine.The treatment period was 4 weeks.The changes of myasthenia gravis score(QMG score),TCM syndromes and IL-18 and IFN-gamma levels in the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment were recorded in detail.At the same time,test the vital signs and blood routine,urine routine,liver and kidney work and so on.And the related data was statistically analyzed by SPSS 19 statistical software.Results: After 4 weeks of treatment,the results were statistically analyzed.The results showed that the scores of myasthenia gravis and TCM syndrome after the treatment were significantly lower than those before the treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).After 4 weeks of treatment,the reduction of myasthenia gravis score in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group,and there was a significant difference between the groups(P < 0.01),which showed that the improvement of the clinical symptoms in the treatment group was obviously superior to the control group.After treatment,the TCM symptom scores in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group,and there was a significant difference between the two groups.(P < 0.01).This showed that the improvement of TCM symptoms in the treatment group was obviously better than that of the control group.After 4 weeks of treatment,the serum levels of IFN-gamma and IL-18 in the treatment group and the control group were significantly decreased(P < 0.01),and the degree of reduction in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group,and there was significant difference between the groups(P < 0.01).It indicates that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group is better than that of the control group in terms of immune regulation.Conclusion: Invigorating spleen and tonifying kidney granule can not only improve the clinical symptoms of myasthenia gravis patients,but also relieve the symptoms of TCM.Invigorating spleen and tonifying kidney granule is effective in the treatment of myasthenia gravis patients.It can reduce the level of IFN-gamma and IL-18 in the serum of MG patients.It indicates that the therapeutic effect of invigorating spleen and tonifying kidney granule on MG may be related to its immunomodulatory mechanism.At the same time,the level of IFN-gamma and IL-18 decreased while the symptoms and symptoms of TCM in two groups were significantly improved compared with those before treatment,indicating that the immune mechanism of invigorating spleen and tonifying kidney granule may be related to the reduction of IFN-gamma and IL-18 levels.It is safe and effective in clinical application that patients in clinical study do not have adverse reactions during taking invigorating spleen and tonifying kidney granules.It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.Invigorating spleen and tonifying kidney granules provides a new method for prevention and treatment of myasthenia gravis,and it has further clinical promotion value. |
