Population ageing is occurring in all countries, regardless of the level of economic development, the rising burden of cardiovascular burden is affecting all the countries. As a country with largest population in the world,China has experienced profound economic and population transition during the past 30 years.Corresponding to the transition, the aging population with 60 years and older people will reach 0.45 billion in 2055,and the cardiovascular disease is increasing its burden to the society and public health.Nowadays in China, cardiovascular disease mortality in rural area is 44.8%,which is 41.9%in urban area. The disease burden will definitely bring great demand of public health resources,so whether the current resources allocation make sense;whether the current society is old-friendly;whether the current policy is cost-benefit is what we will make a study in the following. This paper will start from the global burden of cardiovascular disease,a case study on the US and China as developed and developing economies.Secondly, this paper will deeply analyze in the supply-demand curve in health economics which is the most popular theory in world economy as the basis to make a case study in chapter 4 that if advanced TAVI techs is cost-effective,and if HongKong's age-friendly policy meet the public demand? Finally, based on the above analysis of efficient ways to reduce the cardiovascular disease burden,we list the challenges and opportunities that China is facing, and raise what directions on policy should be made in future,in order to decrease the incremental economic burden that cardiovascular brought in the aging society.
