The Clinical Study On TCM Syndromes Of Metabolic Syndrome

Objective: Based on syndrome investigation and analysis of 180 patients with metabolic syndrome(Metabolic Syndrome,MS),we discussed TCM syndrome types,distribution and characteristics of different age syndromes,so as to provide basis and basis for MS prevention and treatment in clinical medicine.Methods: The formulation of our previous MS TCM syndrome questionnaire,related data of all patients were collected including general data,individual life history,medical history and family history,laboratory examination,diagnostic information,establishment of database and data collected,using frequency analysis,factor analysis and chi square method the use of SPSS17.0 statistical data analysis.Results:(1)through the selection of 55 indicators,MS can conclude four syndromes:(1)phlegm heat obstruction;(2)Qi Yin two deficiency syndrome;(3)Spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation syndrome;(4)Phlegm and blood stasis syndrome.(2)the distribution of 4 syndromes in 180 cases of MS: phlegm and blood stasis syndrome(67 cases,37.2%)> spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation syndrome(51 cases,28.3%)> Qi Yin two deficiency syndrome(35cases,19.4%)> sputum heat resistance syndrome > 27 cases.(3)180 cases of MS were distributed in all age groups: 50-59 years old(63 cases,35%),40-49 years old(54 cases,30%),60-69 years old(33 cases,18.3%),18.3% years old(18.3% cases,33 years old).Conclusion:The main syndromes of MS patients were four:(1)(1)phlegm heat syndrome;(2)Qi Yin two deficiency syndrome;(3)spleen deficiency dampness syndrome;(4)syndrome of phlegm and stasis syndrome.(2)the clinical syndromes of MS were mainly phlegm and blood stasis syndrome and spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation syndrome.The young adults were mainly phlegm heat syndrome.With the increase of age,they were mainly composed of phlegm and bloodstasis and spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation syndrome.
