Medical Anthropology Study On Medical And Health Life Of Villagers In Xitan Village

Health is the basis for all-round development of people which is related to the happiness of millions of families as well.Meanwhile,it is also an eternal topic for humans for thousands of years.The more advanced society and the higher standard of living is,the more people pay attention to health.Therefore,it can be said that health is the first resource of society,the first wealth of life,and one of the most important signs of social civilization.This article takes the villagers in Xitan Village and doctor Ma in the village clinic as the subjects of study.From the perspective of medical anthropology,the writer uses the field survey methods which is the basic way in ethnology.Through in-depth interviews and participatory observations,the writer describes factors influencing citizens' health in three aspects;First,how do citizens define disease in their understanding.Second,how do villagers know the method and choices of curing illness.Third,how does country's involvement,which refers to national health polices affect people's health.Based on those aspects,the writer presents the current medical and health life of villagers in Xitan and states some existed problems which influenced villagers'healthy life under the background of the new era of "Healthy China" and "Healthy Countryside".At last,the writer proposes several suggestions for those problems.
