Effect And Structural Factors Of Cataract Screening And Treatment In Yunnan

Background:Cataract is a kind of eye disease that causes the blurred vision of the eye and the blindness due to the degeneration and turbidity of the lens protein.Cataract is the number one blindness eye disease in China and the world,and its incidence gradually increases with age.In China,the aging process is speeding up,and blindness caused by cataract is a heavy social burden.The prevention of blindness with cataract surgery is considered to be an effective way to eliminate the disease and form a systematic plan to rehabilitate the disease.At the present stage,the means of screening and treatment of cataract are very mature and the cost is low.Moreover,China has implemented a large amount of free or preferential policies for cataract surgery costs.However,the effect of blindness in our national defense is not good.The rate of cataract surgery is still far from that in developed countries.It is difficult to eliminate blindness due to cataract.In addition,studies have shown that the number of blind cataracts not only has not been eliminated,but has doubled in the absence of obstacles to blindness and blindness.Therefore,cataract screening and surgery have become a public health and sociological issue worthy of attention.Methods:This study is a retrospective cohort study.Correlation analysis was used for the relationship between screening rate and distance,the screening rate of screening frequency.Chi square test was used to analyze the distribution of factors in surgical patients;logistic multivariate regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors.Results:Provide two methods of operation(ORF=1.928,P<0.001),the way of payment is light project(P<0.001),the longer(OR=1.191,P=0.014),the farther(OR=1.188,P=0.001),the lower the working level(OR=1.322,P=0.026),the worse the economic development level(OR=1.696,P<0.001),the worse the cataract service level(OR=1.216,P=0.046),the higher screening rate(OR=1.222,P=0.01)is the protective factor of operation rate.The higher(OR=1.222,P=0.01)is the protective factor of operation rate.The level of payment in Dali/Nanjian(OR=0.254,P<0.001),the lower the screening organization level(OR=0.309,P<0.001),the lower the screening frequency(OR=0.557,P<0.001)is the risk factor of operation rate.Conclusions:Two kinds of surgical methods can be provided.The longer the time and distance to the treatment organization,the lower the level of work,the worse the economic development,the worse the cataract service level,the higher the screening rate,the higher the rate of operation;the screening level is two,the lower the frequency of screening,the lower the operation rate.
