Clinical Study Of Wen Shen Tong Luo Fang In Treating EORA

ObjectiveTo evaluate the clinical efficacy of Wen Shen Tong Luo Fang of tutor professor Qiu Lianqun combined with methotrexate(MTX)in the treatment of elderly onset rheumatoid arthritis(EORA)of the Shen-qi deficiency-cold,and evaluate the effect on the quality of life and TCM syndromes,and observe its safety.MethodA non blind randomized parallel control trial was used.A total of 70 cases of elderly onset rheumatoid arthritis of Shen-qi deficiency-cold type were randomly divided into 2 groups.35 cases in the control group were treated with MTX.35 cases in the treatment group were treated with Wen Shen Tong Luo Fang combined with MTX.The course of treatment was 12 weeks.Through the observation of patients before and after treatment with RF,ESR,CRP,joint tenderness,joint swelling,VAS score,TCM syndrome score,HAQ evaluation,DAS28 score changes and adverse reactions,to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of two treatments.Result1.Before treatment: Before treatment,there was not significantly different in the gender,age,course of disease,RF,ESR,CRP,joint ten derness,joint swelling,VAS score,TCM syndrome score,HAQ evaluation a nd DAS28 score of two groups,P>0.05.2.Evaluation of curative effect: the two groups were effective in improving the index of inflammation,clinical manifestation,TCM syndrome,quality of life and disease activity.Among them,the total effective rate of the control group was 77.14%,and the total effective rate in the treatment group was 94.29%.AS for inflammation index,the index of CRP and ESR decreased greater in treatment group than in the control group,the difference between the two groups was significant,P < 0.05;As for the clinical manifestations,the treatment group improved joint tenderness,joint swelling,VAS score better than the control group,P<0.05,the difference was significant;In TCM syndrome,after treatment,the TCM syndrome score of the treatment group decreased significantly better than the control group,P<0.05,the difference was significant;As for the quality of life,improving the quality of life of patients in the treatment group were significantly higher than control group,HAQ score difference between the two groups before and after treatment,P<0.05,the difference was significant;As for disease activity,the difference of DAS28 score in the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group before and after treatment,P<0.05,there was significant difference in disease activity.In the two groups,there was no significant difference of RF,P>0.05.3.Safety evaluation: There were no serious adverse events in the treatment group.No significant difference was found in blood routine,urine analysis,stool analysis,liver and kidney function,vital signs and other safety indexes before and after treatment.ConclusionWen Shen Tong Luo Fang combined with methotrexate treatment regimen can significantly improve the inflammatory index,joint swelling and pain,TCM syndrome and disease activity of EORA of Shen-qi deficiency-cold,and improve the quality of life of patients.Wen Shen Tong Luo Fang combined with methotrexate in the treatment of EORA of Shen-qi deficiency-cold is effective and safe.It fully exerts the advantages of combination of Chinese and Western medicine,and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
