Research BackgroundBronchiectasis(BE)is a disease characterized by myriad underlying causes that are characterized by irreversible dilatation of the bronchi and bronchioles.BE patients represent a group with a wide range of causes, different clinical symptoms, and radiology and microbiology.Disorders in learning characteristics have a major impact on patients and the health care system.Due to the lack of research and resources, compared to other respiratory diseases, the study of BE in the past few decades has been insufficient. The treatment of BE is still based on expert opinions. There is no high-quality evidence to support and the treatment and management programs have not reached the maximum level.good.Studies have shown that IL-17A is present in BE.Whether Oryza can interfere with IL-17A and affect the occurrence and development of this disease is a question worth exploring. The goal and PurPose of researchIn this study, patients with bronchiectasis who are classified as being phlegm-inducing and lung-threatening were given Tongzhitang combined with western medicine and compared with Western medicine alone.By comparing the clinical symptoms, serum inflammatory factors, and IL-17A,the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine is discussed to provide new ideas and possibilities for the treatment of the disease.Research MethodsA prospective randomized controlled study was used.Patients who met the criteria for inclusion in this study were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine. The treatment group was given Oral Stem Soup decoction orally based on routine treatment. The time is 7 days.During this period, the patient disabled other types of proprietary Chinese medicines. The clinical outcomes of patients with symptoms before and after treatment were recorded,as well as changes in serum inflammatory markers and IL-17A.Statistical software SPSS 23.0 was used for statistical analysis. The measurement data were analyzed by x-s,and the count data were analyzed by x~2 test. The rank data was tested using the rank sum test and concluded.Research result1.General information and safety indicators of two groups of patientsA total of 70 cases with satisfactory conditions were included in the study, and there were 35 cases in the experimental group and the control group. One patient in the treatment group had bloody sputum in the sputum on the third day of treatment, one patient could not adhere to traditional Chinese medicine, and one patient in the control group developed skin rash on the second day of treatment.According to the experimental protocol, three patients The patient could not continue the experiment and was therefore excluded. Therefore, the successful completion of the experiment,in fact,a total of67 people, the treatment group, the control group were 33,34 cases. The number of male and female patients in the treatment group were 15,18,aged 26-84years(67.18,12.64),and disease duration 1-35 years(32.05);the number of male and female patients in the control group was 10,24,and the age was 30-79years.(62.71 12.98),duration of 1-70 years(35.9);Baseline status of the two groups of patients was compared.Gender, age, and disease course were analyzed by t-test,chi-square test, and rank-sum test,respectively.P-values were 0.158,0.175,respectively.At 0.413,the difference was not statistically significant and comparable. There were no abnormalities in the patient safety indicators. The majority of sputum cultures were negative,only8 were positive, and only 2 species of bacteria,Pseudomonas aeruginosa(PA)and E.coli, were cultured. The treatment group included 4 patients with PA,1 patient with E.coli, and 3 patients with PA in the control group.2.Comparison of curative effectThe treatment group was effective in 32 cases, the effective rate was 57.57%,the total effective rate was 96.97%,and the control group was effective in32 cases(effective/effective/ineffective=10/22/2).The significant rate was29.41%,and the total effective rate was 94.12%.After chi-square test,X~2=5.427,P=0.026,significant difference. Before and after treatment, scores and total scores of symptom scores of TCM syndromes were scored. After t-test,P values were 0.019,0.001 respectively;main symptoms cough and cough scores were ranked by sum test,P values were 0.002,0.000,respectively,there was significant difference.Changes in minor symptoms such as chest tightness, chest pain, and fever were scored by the t-test,P=0.765.There was no significant difference. The efficacy of the experimental group was not better than that of the control group.3.Changes in inflammatory factorsNEU%,PCT,and IL-17A in both groups decreased after treatment(P values were 0.000).After treatment, the t-test showed that P values were 0.026,0.001,and 0.000,respectively,with significant differences.Research conclusions and significanceThe flavor of wolfberry stem soup can significantly improve the symptoms of cough and sputum in patients with acute exacerbation of belching and phlegm-inducing lung syndrome. There is no significant advantage in secondary symptoms such as chest pain, chest tightness, and fever;it can significantly reduce serum-related inflammatory factors, and can also significantly reduce IL-17A levels;one of the inferred effects of Scutellariae is to interfere with IL-17A and affect the progression of disease.
