Chemical Constituents Of Two Plants Of Callicarpa Genus

The dissertation is comprised of three chapters.Reported in chapter one were the phytochemical investigations and bioactivities of Callicarpa bodinieri.By means of chromatographic methods and spectroscopic evidences,21 compounds including 6new ones were isolated and identified,and 5 of which were evaluated for their anti-inflammatory activity.The second chapter described the phytochemical investigation of Callicarpa formosana,and 13 known compounds were isolated and identified.Chapter 1 Study on Chemical Constituents of Callicarpa bodinieri and Their activityThe plant Callicarpa bodinieri,belonging to the genus of Callicarpa?Verbenaceae family?was widely distributed in China.The whole plant has been used traditionally as folk medicines for the treatment of menoxenia,consumptive,leucorrhea,postpartum blood gas pain and cold wind chill.Studing the chemical constituents of the 85%CH₃OH/H₂O exact of the stems and leaves of Callicarpa bodinieri,which was purchased from Jianshui County,Yunnan Province,led to the isolation of 21compounds,including 6 new ones?one labdane diterpenoids and five abietane diterpenoids?and 15 knowns ones.Compounds 1-5 were evaluated for their anti-inflammatory.Compounds 2 and 5 exhibited moderate inhibitory effects on spleen tyrosine kinase?SYK?,with the IC₅₀0 of 10.72 and 7.21?M,respectively.Chapter 2 Study on Chemical Constituents of Callicarpa formosanaTheplantCallicarpaformosana,belongingtothegenusof Callicarpa?Verbenaceae family?was mainly distributed in Southest China.The whole plant has been used traditionally as folk medicines for the treatment of hemorrhage syndrome.Chemical constituents studies of the 80%CH₃OH/H₂O exact of the stems of Callicarpa formosana,which was purchased from Jianshui County,Yunnan Province had led to the isolation 13 known compounds.Chapter 3 Recent advances on the plants of Callicarpa genusWe reviewed the phytochemical research and bioactivities on the plants of Callicarpa genus,and classified the type of these compounds.
