Pill,powder,plaster and decoction are the four traditional Chinese medicine formulations.They have been recurring in ancient medical books and have a large quantity and rich content.It covers almost all kinds of clinical syndromes of TCM.Studying these dosage forms systematically and scientifically has important valueand broad prospects for development and application.According to related research,powders are the most commonly used formulations in the Chinese medical works before the Song dynasty.Medical St.Zhang Zhongjing is also good at using powders to treat diseases in clinical syndromes.There are 8powders involved in Shanghan Lun.Although this accounted for a small proportion in the total number of prescriptions in the book.What's more,the powder has made great progress and breakthroughs in the preparation methods and related specific applications;in addition,The frequency of application of powders in the Jingui Yaolve is second only to decoction,a total of 32,in the number of prescriptions.The powders from Zhang Zhongjing have a flexible application and outstanding effect,which has become a model for subsequent medical practitioners to follow suit.Systematically and comprehensively combe the relevant knowledge of Shanghan Zabing Lun,summarize the clinical experience and ideological essence of Zhang Zhongjing's use of powders,and combine with the status quo of the development and application of modern powders,explore the issue of dosage reform,and put forward a reasonable outlook with a view to providing reference and guiding significance for the more rational and effective use and development of today's clinical powders.At the same time,it's be hoped to be helpful for dosage reform of the classical prescription.
