Mazirenwan Combined Zengyetang Treatment Of Functional Constipation(Intestinal Excess-heat Syndrome)Clinical Study

Object: This topic is the clinical research of Mazirenwan combined Zengyetang in treatment of functional constipation(intestinal excess-heat syndrome).Observation and assessment of Mazirenwan combined Zengyetang in treatment of functional constipation(intestinal excess-heat syndrome),provide the effective basis of treatment of medication for future days.Method: 72 patients with functional constipation(intestinal excess-heat syndrome)selected from the outpatient of Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were divided into treatment groups(Mazirenwan combined Zengyetang groups)and control groups(Marenrunchangwan groups)randomly,and each group was 36 patients.In the course of treatment,5 patients were lost to visit,7 patients were excluded by additional means of defecation,and the treatment group and the control group all have 30 cases completed.The treatment groups: Mazirenwan combined Zengyetang(semen cannabis,semen armeniacae amarae,radices paeoniae alba,fructus aurantii immaturus,mangnolia officinalis,rheum officinale,radix scrophulariae,dried rehamnia root,radix ophiopgonis,honey);The control groups:Marenrunchangwan.They were treated for 1 months.Result: After 4 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.67%.The total effective rate of the control group of was 63.33%,p <0.05,the Mazirenwan combined Zengyetang group is better than Marenrunchangwan group in the effection.The comparison of total score,the main symptom score in or between the two groups were observed,p< 0.05.It is indicated that Mazirenwan combined Zengyetang and Marenrunchangwan both can improve the symptom scores of intestinal excess-heat functional constipation,and Mazirenwan combined Zengyetang has an advantage in improving the main symptom score and total score.Conclusion: The results of this study show Mazirenwan combined zengyetang could improve the clinical symptoms of patients with functional constipation of intestinal excess-heat type obviously.It could improve fecal properties,reduce defecation time,ease ventosity,celialgia,vexation and insomnia,thirst,halitosis,and liking cool drink.It has no obvious adverse reactions during treatment.It could provide a more effective and safe plan for clinical treatment of FC(intestinal excess-heat syndrome).
