Specific Point Acupuncture With Artificial Tears In The Treatment Of Liver And Kidney Yin Deficiency Of Dry Eye Clinical Observation

Purpose: To investigate the clinical effect of special point acupuncture combined with sodium glassy eye drops in the treatment of liver and kidney yin deficiency type dry eye.As well as further exploring the role of specific point acupuncture in nourishing yin,kidneys,blood and liver in the treatment of liver and kidney deficiency dry eye,in order to prove its efficiency and safety,and to provide a broader idea for clinical treatment.Method: This clinical observation collected patients who were admitted to the ophthalmology clinic of the Affliated Hospital of Changchun University in Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2017 to January 2018.These individuals were diagnosed as having liver-kidney yin deficiency dry eyes.The ages ranged between 40 and 70 years old.60 patients who were diagnosed with liver and kidney yin deficiency in Ophthalmology clinic from January 2017 — 2018 were randomly divided into two groups;30 patients in observation group(60)and 30 patients in control group(60).In the observation group,acupuncture on the central point of the eye was used to CuanZhu,SiZhuKong,SiBai,YuYao,add the points of the common point:YeMen,HeGu,SanYinJiao,and special point:ZhongDu,ShuiQuan.The above points are used together with artificial tears.In the control group,acupuncture was used to CuanZhu,SiZhuKong,SiBai,YuYao,add the points of the common point:YeMen,HeGu,SanYinJiao.The above points are used together with artificial tears.This clinical observation includes two courses of treatment,each lasting 10 days.Before and after treatment,symptoms and signs of those patients were recorded and analyzed statistically.Result:1.The clinical self-conscious symptoms,tear secretion and break-up time of tear film of the two groups of patients were both improved.The results were significantly different,(P < 0.05)and the result of observation group was much better than that of the control group.2.The treatment group cured 7 patients,made 21 better,and the total effectiverate was 93.33%,while the control group cured 5 people,made 19 better,making the total effective rate 80.00%.3.It was also shown that he negative psychological conditions of some patients of the two groups were improved.Conclusion: 1.The results of this study demonstrate that the treatment of dry eye with artificial tear can alleviate uncomfortable symptoms of patients.2.In the observation group,the total efficiency of acupuncture combined with sodium vitreous eye drop in the hole of the eye demonstrated higher success rates than that of the controlled group,indicating that it had certain value of clinical popularization and clinical guidance.
